A/N: Firstly, I want to thank all those who are reading this story. As I've said before, in response to some comments, I am doubtful of the story's quality and plot progression. I am neither an experienced writer nor a confident one so, all the support I've received this far means so very much to me.
However, if this story is, in any way, declining in terms of quality, plot (progression), grammar, etc., please use this text to comment. I only wish to write the best possible story and will accept any advice, criticism, or suggestion.
Additionally, this chapter is as labeled, a Thanksgiving special. I've been feeling especially festive this past week and decided to provide a lengthy chapter for Thanksgiving! This chapter totaled in 3,498 words, way longer than a typical chapter, so, I hope you enjoy this chapter and Happy Thanksgiving!

The next morning Hawks decided to implore Dabi to remain at his apartment to recover more easily without any sort of interruption from other villains or heroes. Dabi, of course, agreed to the blond's request but not without passing off a flirtatious comment saying something along the lines of "You just can't get enough of me." The villain's comment aside, Hawks tended to the injured male's wound, dressing and changing it every other hour.
Grunts, moans, and curses filled the room as the hero poured the medicinal substance into the wound which would otherwise give anybody else the wrong idea. No matter how many times he told the dark-haired male to quiet down, he would go roaring up the next time as if to purposely embarrass the blond.
"Can you please stop?!" Hawks said displaying cheeks colored brightly with red.
"Ghh- fuck it hurts; what do you expect me to do? Fuckin' jump up and start singing campfire songs?"
"Just don't be so obnoxious; I have neighbors, you know." Hawks moved his finger in a circular motion to better communicate his point.
"All they know is that little birdie downstairs is getting some action; what's so wrong with that?" Dabi asked sarcastically with a charismatic tone.
"I'm not even going to comment on that new nickname you just called me," Hawks rolled his eyes. This was his best attempt at trying to avoid whatever implication Dabi was trying to start up.
"What? Don't like the name? I think it's rather funny." The dark-haired male couldn't help but lightly chuckle at his own words. Although slight and harmless, the blonde's heart fluttered at the other male's reaction. Hawks, in his best attempt possible, paid it no mind.
"No. I- ugh, I prefer the other one to fucking 'birdie'."
Out of the corner of the blond's eye, he could see the villain's mouth open and eyes widen. "I'm speechless."
"Clearly not enough to shut up. Now, stop moaning and groaning or I'm going to make you dress and change your own wound."
Quickly Dabi's hands shot up beside his head as if to show surrender. Hawks assumed the guy didn't know how to do any of that bandaging stuff anyway; the scars that lined his body were a prime example of that.
"Alright well, I have to go up to my agency's building today but, after that, I'll be off for the rest of the week," Hawks commented as he stood up from the side of the couch where the dark-haired male lay.
"Wait, why do you have a whole week off? Aren't heroes not supposed to have any days off?" Dabi pried.
"No, not really. But, a big perk of being a hero is that you're in charge of what days you do and don't work. Plus, this week is Thanksgiving" the blond added casually.
