"Remember his name." That's what the next hand-written note said.
Then, "Remember it all."
"Don't forget what he's done."
"Don't lose your head."
"Remember."
"Most importantly, don't forget me."
You'd had about enough of this mystery person's shit after almost six months later. You didn't understand why you kept getting these notes. You'd gone to the police, but there were no fingerprints and no actual crime.
Shin held you in his arms one night while you were drunk.
"I don't know what to do." You cried. "I'm scared. I'm really scared, Shin."
"I know." He said, holding you tight, "I'll... try my best to make sure nothing happens to you."
"More than that!" You sobbed harder, "I keep seeing someone in the corner of my vision when I'm at home. I'm scared, Shin. I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm going crazy!" You shouted.
Shin hushed you and rubbed your back, "I promise... I won't let anything happen to you."
You looked up at Shin.
Even if you weren't sure whether or not you could trust him to keep you safe, you trusted him to comfort you. You trusted him as a person.
You felt safe with him.
And you really...
"I really like you Shin." You said, and his whole face immediately turned pink.
"W-What?" He stammered, "What are you... talking about..."
"You." You said, "Shin, I like you. I really like you, Shin..." You shouldn't be saying this right now. Drunk words are sober thoughts and whatever but fuck, you shouldn't be saying this right now.
Shin bit his lip, "You're drunk, Y/N. Don't say things like that."
"It's true!" You said, your tears stopping for a moment. "I might be drunk, but I know what I'm saying."
Shin stared at you, "Then tell me again in the morning. I'll believe you." He looked up from you at the door to your bedroom, "You should go to bed. Morning will come faster that way."
"Fine," You said, and you laid down against him.
"N-No... In your bed."
"Why?"
"I don't want you to regret this in the morning."
"We're not gonna do anything. We're just sleeping."
It's not that Shin didn't want to. He did. But if you were talking out of your ass, you'd both feel awful tomorrow.
"Y/N,"
"No," You said, "Kiss my ass."
Shin rolled his eyes.
"I won't regret it," You reassured him, "I promise."

You broke that promise.
When you woke up in the morning, you were confused, warm, and comfortable but also sleeping in Shin's arms.
You tried to scoot away, but Shin had a tight grip on you.
You couldn't do anything but accept it.
He woke up a few minutes later, "Y/N," He said quietly.
"Yeah?"
