Call Me Lynx (Wanderer x OC)

Prologue: Interlude

~I just picked a few flowers and asked the archon if I could be a Harbinger~

Sun shone above the streets of Liyue, bringing out many people to enjoy it's warm rays, with kids running throughout the city and busy chatter being carried on the wind. The former archon was sat at one of the restaurants sipping wine accompanied by a Kitsune, chatting about pretty much anything and everything. 

"No, but he's almost like a puppy." Keahi let out a chuckle, shaking her head a little. "There's days when he's following me around wherever I go, like I'll disappear if he looks away from me."

"That's understandable, Master Childe does really value you as a person, Keahi." Zhongli responded looking off into the distance. "It only makes sense that he'd fear losing you."

"Yet, he's so calm when we are separated for a mission!" she rolled her eyes, remembering their exchange after meeting the Tsaritsa. "I wish he'd make up his mind about it all already." letting out a sigh, she also looked off to the side, only to spot a familiar head of blonde hair and her little fairy companion. However, this time, there was a third person, a child to be exact. Squinting her eyes, she realized who the child was immediately shooting up out of her seat. "Hey, Zhongli, I'll have to go." she spoke hurriedly, digging through her pockets and taking out some mora. "Here, this is for our meals, take whatever's left after for yourself." she sent the man a kind smile as she jumped down to the street and ran over to the traveler. "Lumine! Paimon!"

"Hey! It's Lynx!" Paimon squeaked, turning around, making the rest of the group stop to look at the girl running over to them. 

"Big sister!" the kid shouted, running over and jumping into the kitsune's arms, with her catching him effortlessly. She lifted him up as he hugged her tightly, wrapping his little arms around her neck. "Why are you not with big brother Ajax?" 

"Oh, I have a day off today." the white haired girl chuckled awkwardly, setting the little boy down. "What are you doing here, Teucer?" 

"I saw a boat that looked like it was selling toys, so I snuck onto it hoping to see big brother! But he wasn't there. Once we got here I went to explore and even saw Mr. Cyclops!" the girl's eyes widened at this, knowing who Mr. Cyclops was and that he might've been in grave danger if her had encountered one of those. "Then I met these nice people and they took me to see big brother!" 

"We're his babysitters for the day." Paimon spoke up, crossing her arms. 

"What happened to the mr. Cyclops he saw?" 

"It was shut off, don't worry." Lumine responded, giving Keahi a reassuring nod. 

"Big sister Lynx! Are you going to come hang out with us?" Teucer inquired as he was set down by the girl and she shook her head. 

"Sadly, I can't, I have some things to take care of." her gaze shifted from the child up to the traveler. "Did Childe tell you where he was going?" 

"The Qinxyu river, why? Aren't you two in a fight?" Paimon cocked her head to the side as she looked at the small girl that stood before them. 

"Fighting or not, we still work together." the kitsune's tail was swaying side to side as she spoke, obviously slightly annoyed at the question. "Besides, the idiot might get himself into even more problems than he's worth." she mumbled, more to herself. "I'll be going, if you need anything, here's a gadget that will tell you my precise location on the map, as long as I have mine turned on of course. So you'll know where I am and I'll know where you are so, come get me if you need anything." she handed the pair a gadget that resembled a butterfly, letting them attach it to their map. Immediately, she saw a little fox appear on the map, marking her location. "Good, I'll be off then, see you two later."
