29. Who are you?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

I breathed heavily and was wet from sweating too hard, but instead of seeing the head of the count rolling off the platform, I was elsewhere.

Beeb...Beeb...beeb....beep.

What is this sound? I thought. My body was feeling heavy and attached to something, slowly...very slowly, I opened my eyes. It took some time to realize where I was, as my sight was blurry. Once it began to get sharper, I could see a figure beside me. He looked so familiar, a man in a red coat, black hair, white gloves and a black suit. He was asleep in a chair, leaning his head on one arm and his legs crossed. I looked down on me to see his other hand, holding mine tight. Do I know him?

The more I looked at him the more I get the feeling that he is someone I should know. Lost in thoughts, I jumped at the sudden sound of the door being slammed open. Three people came in. "I told you N/A is back!" yelled a girl whit blond hair, blue eyes and in a yellow suit. "Welcome back Miss N/A" said another person in a fancy suit and long hair in a ponytail. "How are you N/A?" asked me the last person with very long blond hair, blue eyes, a green suit and glasses,

They look confused as I didn't respond at first.

A minute later I said something "Who are you people?" The room became awfully quiet now; we all looked at each other, until we could hear something move next to me. The man in red woke up. I was caught off guard the minute he set his eyes on me. He got up from his seat and gave me a bone crushing hug. "I thought you never wake up" he said, nuzzling into my hair. He froze as I asked him the same question; he obviously didn't expect me to lose my memories.

"Was it really necessary to use your powers to get her to sleep Alucard? Because of you she has been in a coma for over a month!" the woman with glasses said that to the men in red. She sounded strict and firm, it frightened me. Alucard held me tighter, "she needed to sleep, I didn't' expect that to happen." "Well there is nothing you can do now...the damage is done!" she was not in a good mood today; she scolded Alucard for quite a long time until she ran out of the room.

"Walter...police girl. Please leave this room now. I need some privacy with N/A"

The girl and the butler left the room without a word, as the man in red looked at me. "N/A...don't you remember me?" he tried, as I shook my head no. He asked me a few more questions, which I all said no to. He tried another approach, "Did you dream N/A?"

Finally, I nodded.

"Good, would you like to tell me all about it?" I hesitated at first, but then I nodded. He moved himself beside me and kept holding my hand while I told him the whole story.

Once I was done, he looked...amused.

"I see" was all he said, before taking his tie off. He gave me the ribbon and wrapped it around my wrist. "I...have promised you something centuries ago and I intend to keep my word." With that, he got off the bed and kneeled deeply before me, "I returned to you...my mistress."
