Those were the words he told me a month before she came along.
Dear Diary... Have you ever been in love with someone you thought loved you back...? And in the end... they left for someone else..?
I have been sitting here, wishing this was all just a big nightmare.
Third of December, that was the day I thought I loved him and he loved me...
I sat there on the bench waiting for the train.. which never came. It was cold... snowing, even. I shivered, tearing up. Why didn't I come prepared for this amount of snow? It blew across my face, chills going through my body.. where was this train?
Suddenly... A familiar voice rang.
''Winter, bud what are you doing out here in the cold? The train already left..''
I looked up, seeing Flint. My face grew warmer just seeing him. My best friend, ever since that day I was being bullied on the first day of school here... We grew close...
Suddenly, I felt something made of.. polyester.. wrapped around my fragile body. A sweater? I noticed Flint smiling down at me with his adorable smile... and he sat down next to me, pulling me close.
''I can't have you freezing here...'' He said, taking his phone out and calling his mom.
''... I'll have my mom drive us to your place, I know you were waiting for the train to go home, right?''
It was like he read my mind, and I looked at him, nodding.
''Ah.. you poor thing, my.. your face is so frosty..'' He laughed quietly, gently placing a hand on my cheek, a comforting warmth radiating off it... Resulting in me falling into his arms.
''Oh! Hah... come here you...'' He cooed, pulling me closer and letting me cuddle up to him... I felt.. safe in his embrace, he made me happy.. Maybe... maybe he liked me back?-...

It was January 16th, and I was waiting for Flint to meet up with me by the lockers to go to Theatre together...
he finally came by, but had been accompanied by a petite girl with long, delicate black hair... crystal blue eyes... a warm smile spread across her face.
''Heya Winter..! I want you to meet my new Girlfriend.. Her name is Heather..''
...my heart crushed as I heard his words, falling silent. All I could hear was ringing.
He had a girlfriend..?
She waved to me. ''Hello.. I've heard a lot about you from Flint.. he said you've been his best friend since day one of you being here... How sweet..!" She giggled.
I looked at her, gulping. ''Ahah.. y..yea.. I suppose so. Uh.. I'm gonna run to the bathroom real quick.. See you in class Flint..'' I muttered, quickly running off...
I sat there for a solid ten minutes crying in the stalls. He.. only thought of me as a best friend? Why did I think so foolishly that he liked me back.. Wh.. Why does it hurt so much.. knowing he had a girlfriend..?
...time passed. A month or two had passed and I watched sadly as he walked with her to classes. She was such an angel.. and yet I wished she was dead. She was a sight for sore eyes, really.. and yet how could I hate her when she did nothing wrong..?..
Is it bad to say I'm jealous seeing his arm wrapped around her shoulder.. to see them kiss before classes?...
It ached. I.. felt jealousy, sadness... Why.. why did I..

Dw in the end outside of this angst in the end Flint doesn't feel happy anymore with Heather and they break up... and eventually Flint and Winter grow close again and get together! Flint dated Heather because he honestly liked her and she was pretty, but she wasnt as fun and enjoyable as he thought so they broke up (with no anger or anything. They did it cuz neither was happy in the end)
