"I'll be back, I need to go do something." Seb opted to not question me this time. I ran out of the common room and up the Grand Staircase, but there was no sign of Garreth. I did catch Nellie, who was also a Gryffindor.

"Hey, Nellie, would you mind asking Garreth to come out here?"

"Oh sure, may I ask what for?"

That's a little nosy. "Uh yes, I need to give him something that he... forgot earlier." Not totally a lie.

"Sure, just give me a few to find him."

"Thanks, I appreciate it!"

About five minutes went by before Nellie reemerged with Garreth. He still had the same pants on, but had changed into a Gryffindor t-shirt, which showed off his toned biceps and forearms. I was staring.

"Well this is a pleasant surprise! Nellie said I forgot something in Hogsmeade that you needed to deliever?"

Oh Merlin this was awkward. I was waiting to see if Nellie would turn around and go back to the common room, but she just stood there.

"Uh...yes, I uh..." I looked over his shoulder and she was still there. Oh well, I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world for one person to know. She sure was about to get a show.

I grabbed his face with both of my hands and pulled his lips to mine. He was shocked, but he quickly reciprocated by tangling his fingers in my hair. The force of his kiss bent me back slightly, but he steadied me with one hand at my back. We both pulled apart at the same time.

"You forgot that earlier," I said with a goofy grin.

"Yeah, it seems I did. How forgetful of me."

I peered over his shoulder and Nellie was still there, except now her jaw was nearly on the floor. Once she snapped out of her shock, her expression turned sour and she stomped back into the Gryffindor common room.

"Is she ok? I wanted to wait for her to go back to the room but she didn't seem to want to move."

"Nellie? Probably not. She's the leader of those admirers you mentioned earlier."

"Oh Merlin, so I've upset her? That wasn't my intention, she probably thought I did it on purpose-"

Garreth cut me off by lifting me up off the ground by my backside and smashing his lips into mine. I yelped into his mouth and steadied myself on his shoulders.

"I don't give a mandrake's ass what she or anyone else thinks, Ara. I told you before, right now, it's only you."

He was still holding me up, so I kissed him again.

"If you don't put me down Garreth Weasley I fear I may never want to leave."

"No."

"What did you say?"

"I said," still holding me, he used his hands to pull each of my thighs to wrap around his torso, "no."

He walked around the corner with me attached to him into an alcove under the Grand Staircase, out of sight. He pressed my back against the wall and I let out a little gasp.

"Garreth Weasley, you are bad! I didn't know you had this side to you."

"There's a lot you don't know about me, Arabella Gene." He spoke in an almost sultry tone and it sent a shiver down my spine as he started kissing my neck. When he hit my sensitive area, I let out an involuntary moan.
