Arabella POV
I was still giddy from my rendezvous with Garreth earlier today as I prepared to sneak out and meet Seb in the library. Part of me was dreading it because I knew Seb would be able to smell Garreth on me. He was like a bloodhound. I just wanted to focus on the task at hand and find those missing pages to get back on track with Miriam's mission.
The castle was hauntingly beautiful at night. I did my best to stay out of the way of Prefects and Professors as I navigated the corridors under the guise of night. The vast network of bathrooms that sprinkled the halls was helping. As I came to the final staircase down to the library, I saw Sebastian standing there, out in the open with not a care in the world. He was standing with his elbows on the banister, facing me, not making any effort to hide his suggestive smirk.
"Hello, Ara. Welcome to my side of the law."
"You seem relaxed for someone about to commit a crime against school rules. I suppose you're comfortable on this side of the law, yeah?"
"More than you know. And lucky for you, I'm accepting new recruits. First requirement: don't get caught."
"Easy. Let's go-"
"Woah woah woah, not so fast. We're not just going to barge in there. I may be a degenerate, but I'm not stupid. We need to cast Disillusionment so we can sneak past the Prefects."
"Ok. What's that?"
"It's a charm that will make us mostly invisible. It doesn't work as well as a potion or invisibility cloak, but it does the job as long as we're quiet. It also doesn't mask things like sound or smell, so try to stay as far away from authorities as possible. Move your wand like this and speak the incantation."
"Like this?" I moved my wand but nothing seemed to happen. Sebastian watched me with his head slightly tilted to the right, which reminded me of Ominis.
"Not quite. Here, may I?" Sebastian moved to stand behind me so he could guide my hand in the movement. His breath was hot on my neck and his lips were very close to my ear. He moved his left hand to rest on my waist as his right stretched out to hold both my hand and wand. My breathing hitched as he hand tightened around mine.
"Relax, love. You're very rigid right now. The charm will never work while you're in this condition."
"Yes well you're making it difficult to concentrate." That familiar pull was hammering in my chest.
He chuckled a low, almost growl like noise and I nearly shuttered. "Am I flustering you?"
His hand gripped my waist tighter.
"No."
"Yes I am! When I just tightened my hand you shuttered. My my Ara, I thought you were all about Weasley. I can smell him on you."
Now he was pissing me off. Fine, two could play at that game.
"I am. As a matter of fact, I was all about his head in between my thighs just a few hours ago." Sebastian immediately dropped both of his hands and stepped away from me.
"His head was where?!" He was being too loud now, we'd be caught before the mission even began.
"Shh! Seb, we'll be caught!"
"Yes well excuse me if I'm not thrilled at the vision you just so kindly laid out before me. Weasley?! At least let me show you what a real man can do."
"Sebastian Sallow! I am not an object for you all to fight over. I thought we went over this after Hogsmeade...and since when do you even act this way towards me?! You told me that you'd always be there for me to protect me and keep me safe, not objectify me."
