My Silenced Quirk (Deaf Bakugo, TdBk)

Chapter 15: You cant avoid me, asshole.

Hello somehow its been two months oops. Arent yall lucky you dont hafta wait cuz im posting it after its finished, huh? Afterall its been 6 months now.... Okay enough stalling write time

Through the rest of classes, I couldnt help but watch Todoroki. He hadnt even said hi to me during lunch. Maybe he was embarrassed? Cute. I thought with a smirk.

I knew I should be paying attention to the teacher, but it was just Present Mic and all we were doing was reviewing stuff before exams, so it didnt really matter. Yet suddenly Todoroki was being more attentive than ever, never breaking his gaze focusing on the teacher.

Even during the next class he was paying close attention, despite it being reviews again. It was then that I realized he might be purposefully ignoring me! Still, I stared at him the whole time, hoping he might let up so I could atleast see his expression, but nothing. He couldnt actually be worried about exams, could he?

Yeah he definetly was ignoring me. Next class was hero training, and we went to the practice buildings for a stealth mission and paired up. He didnt glance at me once, in fact when I approached him he immediatly went to Ponytail to pair up with her, and she was just confused since it was clear he was avoiding me. I ended up partnering with Deku.

"Wait wait wait hold on, hes ignoring you?" Deku laughed. "Seriously? Is he dense or what?" I glared at him, but he just laughed more. *Okay okay, here, Ill help you out.* He finally switched to asl, so I could actually understand through his dumb laughter.

*It is a stealth mission, and the goal is to capture another team, and then wait till times up. Ill distract Momo and you can go ahead and "capture" him. Then you two can talk, and since we are at the training grounds, theres plenty of rooms in these buildings, so you will have privacy, too."

Thank god he wasnt always an absoloute idiot. "Deal." I said, turning to face Aizawa, waiting to start. We could do this.

As soon as the timer started, Deku and I took off in the direction we guessed they would go, and Deku used his danger sense to avoid any other people.

Deku caught sight of Ponytail first, and pointed over to where Todoroki was. We split up to take them on from two different sides, and by the time I made it over, he had already gotten Ponytail out of the way, and I was just left with Todoroki.

Meanwhile, with Deku and Momo:

"Wait, what the- Midoriya! Whats going on? Your not even trying to capture me, thats the goal, remember? Why did you gesture for me to join you instead? I left Todoroki alone back there!"

"Shh shh!" Deku urged. "Youve known for ages that Todoroki likes Bakugo, right?" Momo nodded. "This is their chance! Trust me!"

She paused. "Huh, Bakugo was your partner, waant he? Smart move, but what are we going to do about the objective?"

"Simple, we can call it a draw. Whoever is so called 'captured' between those two, can be the opposite between us.

Momo nodded, "Good plan. Im sure Todoroki will go ahead and let Bakugo 'capture' him, so it will most likely be me who 'captures' you, right?"

Deku nodded. "Then lets just hope those two figure their feelings out in the meantime and sit tight." Deku grinned, "I knew youd understand."

Back to my idiots:

I walked toward Todoroki, like a predator to its prey, and he whipped his head around. "What the- where did Momo go-" He said and signed in sync.

I glared at him, his eyes and mouth wide open in shock, before grabbing him and dragging him into an empty room, locking the door behind us, before I pinned him to the wall. "Why the FUCK have you been avoiding me!"

He raised his hands, as if to surrender. "Youve been avoiding me all day, you asshole!" I hissed. If it wasnt for the circumstance, Id be yelling, but for now I had to keep my voice lowered.

"I told you I like you too, you dumbass, or did that not get through your thick skull!" I saw his expression change, and a glint in his eyes. Uh oh. I hadnt planned to say it outright. But I was so pissed, that it just slipped.

I took a step away, unpinning him. *You what? What was that, Bakugo?* He teased in asl, stepping closer to me. Fuck, now I was the prey. "Oh shut up." I said, looking around for an oppurtunity to excape. I had really fucked up now! Did I really go ahead and say I liked him!? Fuck fuck fuck!

*Or what?* He taunted, stepping even closer, until it was my back that was against the wall. *What are you going to do about it, hm? Why dont you just go ahead and say it again? Once more, how do you feel about me?*

I glared at him, my face heating up more and more the closer he got. Well... It seemed he was just as flushed so...maybe it wasnt too bad of an outcome. "Why dont you kiss me and find out..." I said in an almost whisper. "Gladly."

And just like that, his face was an inch away, and I closed my eyes, and his lips met mine.
