Chapter 25: Watch me.

The rest of the day went by fine. After awhile I turned my hearing aids back on, Deku had started answering questions for me, after homeroom Todoroki came and made sure I was okay, amd I ate lunch with the bakusquad.

Everything was fine, until we were had a practice match against Class B after lunch. At this point, it seemed the news had spread through the whole school.

"Whats that Bakugo doing here? Everyone knows you cant be a hero if you cant hear, or is Class 1A just that desperate since they are so weak?!" Monoma laughed manically, and most of the class turned to glare at him, including myself. That little prick....

But that girl with the big hands just wacked him for us and scolded him.

But I couldnt excape for long.

We were sent to go and take out as many of the opposite class as we could, capture them and take them to our individual jails. I had already captured a few of class Bs students, before I came into contact with Monoma once again. This time, with noone to back me up. Not that I needed it, of course.

"Well, well. If it isnt the wannabe hero, Bakugo!" He once again had that manic look in his eyes. "Didnt anyone ever tell you? You cant be a hero if you need those in hour ears! And if you cant hear the people call for help, how van you be a hero?"

I had already thought all this through, I knew what he was saying, and it may be true. But not for me.

"You can never be a hero!"

A smirk fell onto my face, and I raised my hands up.

"Watch me."

BOOM

I dragged Monoma back to our base and through him into our lair. The only one who could dictate what I could be was me. I knew this wouldnt be the end of it, more people would say those words, how I cant be a hero if im deaf, villians would too. Everyone would try and taunt me, say I couldnt, Even I might have doubts sometimes, I was sure. But I would keep my response the same, every time. Watch me. And thats exactly what they did.

Im now 20 and already rising to become number one. Ive defeated too many villians to count and saved even more people. I graduated from UA along with the rest of my class, and I started my own agency. I proved that nothing could stop me from being a hero.

As for Shoto? He's sleeping with his head on my lap as I write this. He has a ring on his finger matching my own. We're engaged and live together, close to the new agency. Openly gay and deaf, and yet Im on the rise to be the next number one hero, well before im even 25. I had the world against me, even myself against me at first, but that didnt mean shit. Only I dictate my life, and thats how I became the greatest hero.

sorry if the ending seems a bit rushed but yay i did itttt i love this story with all my heart i do and its the longest one ive ever written. I thought it woukd be 15 chapters max tbh. But yay i did it. Its almost 2:30 am tho... Still same day me but imma post it eheheh its beena year and i did it! I hope you enjoyed reading this story!
