I closed my eyes before his hand brushed against my cheek. I look him in the eyes and all I see is pure anger. I know I shouldn't make excuses for him but he was drunk. He was standing in front of me, holding a whiskey bottle in his left hand.

"How dare you accuse me of cheating? You're living under my roof, okay?"

"I know you're cheating, Marcus! Fucking admit that!"

I was afraid he was gonna hit me again but instead, he just sighed. He took a sip from his whiskey bottle and was silent, knowing I was right about his cheating part. He didn't have to say a word - I had enough physical evidence.

There was a loud silence between us. Marcus took his phone from the bedside table and left, without saying a single word. He didn't even look at me. When his drunk footsteps from the corridor were gone, I took out my suitcases and I packed my stuff in a rush. I knew he probably went to a bar close to our apartment but I needed to get out as soon as possible. I couldn't stand being in this apartment for another minute, even though I had nowhere else to go.

I didn't leave a note because I knew when he comes back and sees that all of my stuff was gone... I've left him completely.

We're over.
