Gentle fingers are caressing thick alpha's hair, whose head is placed on the lap of smiling Pete. Their house, shrouded in twilight, is so quiet. Kai should have fallen asleep long ago, Macau is now in Bangkok, and in the purple-violet light of the lava lamp, they are feeling warm and cozy together.
Still, a few thin strands make Pete frown slightly. Vegas guesses what's going on:
"Yes. I'm not getting any younger, Pete."
"Eh?.." Pete awkwardly feigns surprise on his face, "what are you talking about?"
"About the fact that stream of time cannot be reversed, my dove," Vegas strokes his husband's cheek, "but I will try not to age so fast that you don't feel like..."
"What else! What nonsense is this?!" Pete flashes, stubbornly folding his arms on his chest, "he's going to age... Nonsense! Tell that to yesterday's omega students who were making eyes at you while sitting at the next table in the cafe!"
Vegas laughs. He was always touched by the little bouts of jealousy of his beloved husband:
"I'm sure after you triumphantly showed them the ring on your finger, they quickly understood: not a bit of a chance."
"I hope so. If they hadn't understood the hints, I wouldn't have been ashamed to explain it in words. Let them make eyes at their alphas. And you are only mine!"
"Only yours," Vegas lifts his head from his lap and hugs his gentle rebel, "until my last breath I will remain only yours."
"I don't want to hear anything about any last breaths," Pete still grumbles softly, rubbing his cheek against his husband's cheek, "and enough about that."
Vegas begins to shower gentle kisses on the omega's face, but when his lips touch Pete's, the latter in one deft movement exposes the shoulders and torso of the alpha, lowering the bathrobe to the waist, and his eyes instantly flash with admiration. Vegas knocks him over on his back, hanging above him. The sides of Pete's robe diverge to the sides, presenting a light slender body to the alpha's gaze. Vegas's lips are in every curve, in every hollow. And Pete longs to give him these touches in return. He bites the skin near the collarbones, and Vegas' breath gets even hotter. And desire beats in tides, rolls over everything in its path with a wave, straight to the heart, and from it - down to the very nature. They tickle each other and laugh. Pete pretends that he is still jealous of Vegas and angry for talking about aging, but in fact he is fascinated by his husband. It's a magical, exhilarating attraction. They join hands. Pete stops smiling and lowers Vegas' palm down his stomach. The alpha squints, and then his gaze becomes deep and gentle:
"Wherever I am, my soul and my body languish like a tightly stretched bow, only by you, my dove..."
"Vegas!.."
"What?"
"Just do it."
The alpha nods and descends lower. Pete closes his eyes and plunges into the caresses of his husband. He is always flattered to listen to beautiful assurances, but sometimes he just wants to feel him.

"Father! Dad! Look what I caught in our garden!"
Today is a day off, but Pete and his husband are woken up by the joyful cry of their Kai, although it is not yet seven am. The omega is the first to throw on a robe and quickly descends. And he just freezes when he notices his son is squeezing the snake's jaws and throat with his fingers. He managed to overcome herpetophobia, but the sight of their six-year-old son with a snake in his hands causes fear for the child.
"What's going on here?" Vegas' voice comes from behind.
Pete silently nods in Kai's direction. Then the alpha, quickly finding himself next to his son, intercepts the snake from him and takes it out of the house, where he deals with the reptile.
