"Jisoo, if we ever go to a banquet, can I invite you?"

Jisoo couldn't be more stunned and astonished by his request. She couldn't imagine of there will be a time for them to go to a banquet in the future. She isn't even sure if they will meet again after he is cured. There are so many uncertainties.

"Yes, I would gladly accept your invitation, if there is a banquet that we will go together in the far future."

Her mouth betrays her mind. Jisoo can't really refuse, She finds it hard to say no to the things he asks. Whether or not it's a trap She doesn't know yet, but she trusts him. Sometimes she even feel guilty because she is basically liking her patient now. And if anyone know this she is doomed.

"I want that day to come sooner." Haein says with such a soft tone and his voice is a bit hoarse.

"I hope too, so keep it up and wait till the day you're out of here."

"I will. I promise." The moment they both look into each other's eyes, Haein reaches out and caresses Jisoo's hand while making a promise.

Minutes later

Jisoo continues to read the story for Haein. They almost read 1/5 of the book in one day.

"Slow music starts to play, he bows, followed by her bow. Their hands are intertwined. Sooho spins her around and Youngro turns smoothly. He holds her waist and she gently lay her hand on his shoulder. They swing to the music and move in harmony..."

"Jisoo, I remember learning to dance like that when I was young, I was forced to have those lessons."

"You too? Same." Jisoo doesn't know he learned dance in his childhood.

Haein closes the book in Jisoo's hands and stands up. Jisoo looks up in confusion when he holds out his hand.

"Let's go downstairs."

Jisoo interprets that statement as the hint to end today's session. So she takes his hand and stands up. He carefully leads the way down the attic. Jisoo walks behind him, her gaze moves down to their locked hands. The warmth that comes from his palm reaches her arm and goes straight up. She doesn't want the session to end, not right now, not when he is holding her hand like this.

Haein was right, there is nobody downstairs since it's night time already.

He leads her towards the center of the hallway, there is a bit of space there. Haein reaches for a tape to put into the radio. Jisoo is so confused because doesn't he want to rest now? Haein picks the song "One Way Ticket".

Damn this man has TASTE. This is the second time that Jisoo is shocked by how similar their tastes are. The book choice, and now the music.

Slow and soft music comes out from the radio and the candle light is the only light source. The air is getting thick and Jisoo is a bit nervous. Just when she is about to ask, Haein turns around and looks at her with the same nervousness.

"May I have this dance, my dear Jisoo."

Jisoo is astonished by both his invitation and the way he calls her. "My dear Jisoo", those three words that come from his lips are the most beautiful melody. Her cheeks turn into a darker shade of pink and she lowers her head. Jisoo as a psychiatrist wants to say no, but Jisoo as herself doesn't. She knows she wants to dance with him, but she can't decide. It means that their relationship will enhance into a whole different level and she fears. It's a sweet torture.

"Jisoo?" Haein holds out his hand with a face full of sincerity.

Jisoo throws all the thoughts to the back of her head immediately after hearing this second offer. With a slight nod, Jisoo puts her hand into his. Haein smiles in satisfaction and joy. He puts a small kiss on the back of her hand. Jisoo instantly feels her cheek burning and the spot he kissed is on fire. Thankfully the light in the library is not enough for him to see her flushed cheeks. She looks up at the gentleman. Haein is smiling with his puppy eyes again and that's what she can't reject. They look so innocent, as if they don't belong to a psychopath that killed people.
