I tried so hard to forget yet you are still in my mind...
Jisoo spends another week wondering around with Rosé before she determines it's time to get a job and actually start generating them money.
"This is it, job interview tomorrow!" Jisoo feels relieved after receiving several interview requests.
"Unnie, I know it! I know you can do this!" Jennie hugs Jisoo really tight and glad that she is finding some easier jobs.
"My Nini always has THE best idea right?" Jisoo smirks and caresses Jennie's hand.
"Can't doubt that." Jennie smirks back.
The next day
Jisoo wakes up early and dress formal to do an interview sent by a big hospital in Melbourne, there will be a bunch less severe patients there so it's definitely an easier job.
Upon walking into the hospital, she remembers HIM, her first patient, she remembers how stubborn he was at the beginning. But pushing him to the farthest of her mind, she suppresses the feeling and walks into the room for the interview.
With her flawless academic achievements and past working experiences she was hired immediately.
"In my prediction." Jisoo smirks internally.
She is no longer the psychiatrist who walks in an interview trying to prove that she is capable, she doesn't need a job, a job needs HER.
In the recovery school
Haein has been waiting, his heart has been open to someone for the first time and he can't help but falling for his doctor more and more.
He waits for days, and Jisoo is not here.
"Maybe she meant by visiting once per week."
A week passed and Jisoo isn't here.
"Maybe she meant by visiting once per month."
Haein reassures himself trying to not be sad, but Jisoo is nowhere to be seen.
Every night he sits on his bed glancing out of the window, hoping that tomorrow he will see a little pretty figure running into the gate. But his hope always ends in vain.
Jisoo never called him nor picked up his calls. She evaporates from South Korea to God knows where. Haein forces himself to focus on the studies so he could be free to go to the big world and search for his love in it.
"Please, I can't ever forget you, how could I when you are the light that lights up my world and you are the angel that saved me from the darkness..." Haein covers his face.
Tears fall silently on his face, never does he know that on the other side of the world, Jisoo is lying on the floor of her room crying her heart out.
"Haein", Jisoo whispers softly in between sobs, "If only I was not a psychiatrist and you were not my patient."
The next day
Jisoo wakes up and remembers that tonight her family and Rosé's family are going to go to a banquet together, and she is not in a good condition to be in a banquet, but she prepares for it anyways because she doesn't want to disappoint her parents and everyone around her. Jisoo is tired, for the first time she feels that living in Australia with friends she love doesn't bring her that much happiness anymore, but she knows that people around her loved her and sacrificed for her, so she can't show any disappointment.
She spent half of the day in her room analyzing the logs she created when treating Haein to prepare for her new job, and the other half of the day singing with Rosé preparing for her debut as a singer.
