I WILL, AFTER HE IS SAFE

Midnight

Haein sits on his bed wrapped in a blanket. He looks through the hole on the wall wondering where Jisoo could be right now. He still can't get over the fact that there is another part of him that's so abusive. He is lost in his thoughts when he hears a voice coming from nowhere.

"You must be that Haein, right?"

"Who...who are you?!" Haein mutters in horror because the door is locked and the only person in this room is him, but this voice is coming out of nowhere, to be more precise, it's coming from him.

"You better shut up before I take back the control of this body."

"So you are the one who tried to kill Jisoo huh? Get out of me, I don't need or want you here."

"Oh dear, you definitely want me here."

"No, and get out of my mind now!" Haein roars in pain when he feels the rage inside him growing stronger and he doesn't have any power to control it.

"Your tries will end in vain, Haein, my target is that doctor and you have no power to interfere."

"No, you are not going to do anything to her!" Haein smashes his fists on the bed

"You never know." The voice sounds playful. In a matter of seconds, it disappears in his head and Haein feels exhausted.

"Jisoo, I won't let HIM hurt you, I promise." Haein makes a final statement to himself in a weak and inaudible voice before he finally passes out on his bed.

The next day

Jisoo wakes up with such a headache and fever that she can't even sit in her bed. The maids quickly inform her parents and give her some medicine. After a few minutes, Irene, Taehyung and Jennie rushes into the room with worry visibly on their faces.

"Oh my God honey, you look so pale, what happened?" Irene asks in trembling voice. She hasn't seen Jisoo like this before.

"Nothing mom, just...stress I guess?" Her voice is weaker than usual with heavy breathing in between words.

"Unnie (word for 'sister' in Korean), it's not just stress, you need some sort of rest for today, don't go to work. I will stay with you today." Jennie suggests while holding Jisoo's hand, deciding that she's not going to the university today.

"No Jennie, you need to go to your lecture, I'll stay with Jisoo, my assistant will manage my schedule and I'll work from home. Eomma, I'll stay with her." Taehyung pats Jennie's shoulder. He is the boss of his own company now so besides the meetings, he has more freedom.

"Ok, Tae, then take care of our princess while me and your dad are gone okay?" Irene leaves a kiss on Jisoo's cheek before she bids goodbye to her and leaves the room.

"Thank you oppa, you don't have to, I can stay by myself-" Jisoo tries to show him that she's fine by trying to stand, but she falls back down quickly into Taehyung's arms as he tries to stop her from falling. He places her on her bed.

"Jisoo, you need someone to take care of you, don't be too strong. You know you have someone to count on, right?" Taehyungs sighs because his little sister always behave like this, trying to show the world that she's capable. He caresses Jisoo's hand-still covered in bandages-and places a kiss on the back of her hand.

"Jisoo, I just want you to know that you could do whatever you like because we are a family and I love you and support you always. If you need something just tell us, don't carry the burden and walk the path on your own, we are by your side." Taehyung pulls Jisoo into a warm hug. He doesn't usually have the time with his sisters because of his busy schedule but these little moments just lights up his day.
