“This way, Mr. Kim,” the Dean says, motioning towards the left.

Taehyung follows with a slight nod, hands in his pockets and eyes moving around the place. The whole college campus is big and well structured. It’s a good place to invest in. These are just formalities, Taehyung will put the company’s money on this project, either way. It’s something he’s wanted to do for a very long time.

As a former student of this university, he knows the struggles the students go through and now that he’s managed to establish himself into a wealthy position, he wants to give them an opportunity to grow as well. The investment will go to some specific areas, as well as scholarships that will be created to give to the students. The basics have been put on the table, now he just needs to decide which ones should get more money and which ones should get less.

Eyes fall on him as they walk by a few students that aren’t in lessons. Taehyung smiles and nods as they get closer. Everybody nods back. Taehyung never really liked being the center of attention, but after growing so much in the market, several interviews and rumors, he’s become pretty well known.

“As you can see, this south wing is the one better structured, since it’s one of the latest ones that’s been constructed,” the Dean’s words bring him back to the present and he nods in agreement. It’s much different to the north wing, the one that was constructed first and where Taehyung took the vast majority of his lessons. “The classrooms are also more spacious, have a better organization of desks and the design allows the students to see the front board easier,” she goes on, motioning towards one of them.

Taehyung takes a step inside the empty room. He slowly makes his way up the stairs, towards the last row and takes a seat in the middle. In front of the board stand the Dean, the Vice Dean, Taehyung’s personal assistant, the Board representatives and a few representatives from the college organization, who he sincerely doesn’t even remember greeting.

Taehyung’s life is pretty busy, so it’s hard to always remember faces, names or work positions. He has to separate between the important people and people he might not see ever again. It’s nothing personal, just something he’s grown used to.

“It’s a good view,” he mentions, smiling and leaning against the desk.

“Were you a student that used to sit in the back always, Mr. Kim?” The Vice Dean asks, hands in his pockets.

“I was, as a matter of fact,” he mentions. “I always preferred staying where nobody could see me.”

“But now you’re basically in the spotlight,” the Dean says.

Taehyung leans back and nods to himself.

“Unfortunately,” he murmurs. “Shall we continue?”

“Yes,” she replies. “Now comes the sports department. We’re really proud of the students who belong to our different sport circles. We make sure that they have the biggest grades and they have the opportunity to play professionally,” she explains, as Taehyung makes his way towards the front and follows behind her. Everybody else stays a little bit back but continue behind them.

“Ah, I remember the circles used to be so small they couldn’t compete on professional competitions,” he responds, looking around as they make their way towards the east wing.

They’ve expanded their territory a lot. Buildings that weren’t there before now make Taehyung feel the slightest bit nostalgic. Everything seem better during college. He had more time, for instance. It may not seem something of that much value, but for Taehyung is really is. Nowadays, to have a minute or two to just sit down and read a book is enough to have him relaxing.
