Taehyung hums. He lets go of a shaky breath and nods to himself before leaning back. His hand leaves Jimin's skin and he swallows down the disappointment, moving back to his own seat. Taehyung gets off without another word and Jimin is fast to follow, getting ahold of his bags.

The elevator ride is silent and strangely tense. Taehyung leans back against the wall opposite to the one Jimin settles against. And when their eyes meet as they're going up, his dark gaze makes Jimin feel nervous in a way that's exciting.

He holds his breath without even realizing it and tries to catch Taehyung's gaze again as they continue going up, but it doesn't happen anymore. And soon enough, they're getting off on his floor.

His place looks just like it did the last time he saw it. It still makes Jimin feel so small the second they're inside. Everything from then on feels like he's letting himself be guided by his own body, almost like dancing. He leaves his bags in the same place he'd left them the last time and he settles in the middle of the living room while Taehyung excuses himself to get him some water.

When Serendipity starts playing, it still surprises him and makes him feel like he's about to dance in some special place. The song goes by faster than it ever has. But all throughout it, Jimin's eyes remain plastered on Taehyung.

Jimin hadn't questioned why he'd stayed back at the end of the room, leaned back against the wall. A part of him had wanted to believe that it was because he was worried about doing something...about giving in to what had gone through them in the car and in the elevator. But he tried to push the thought away as he danced for him, marveling in the way the older one's jaw remained clenched, eyes following him as if he was the only thing he ever wanted to see.

Jimin feels special and wanted. He doesn't ever want the feeling to go away. When the song ends, he struggles to keep away the disappointment and takes his time catching his breath.

"You dance so beautiful," Taehyung whispers. "I can never look away."

Jimin opens his mouth to say something, but he honestly doesn't even know what he wanted to say. Taehyung looks so good like that. Standing in the far end of the room, sleeves pulled up to his forearms, the top buttons of his shirt undone. His hair is pushed back and he's just looking at Jimin in this way.

When he fails to talk, Taehyung pushes away from the wall and makes his way towards him. Jimin's heart starts beating faster. He feels trapped, in the best way. He's breathless from dancing and his body is trembling slightly. When Taehyung is in front of him, he tilts his head back the slightest bit and finds his eyes.

"Aren't you going to say something?" Taehyung asks. "Tease me about how mesmerized I am by your dance moves? I'm not lying, you know? I actually can't-"

He's interrupted by Jimin's lips pressing to his own. It's brief and surprises both of them. Jimin's eyes widen as soon as he realizes what he just did. But the confusion passes quickly and within seconds, Taehyung is making a desperate sound, leaning towards him and kissing him properly.

Their bodies move like they've known each other for years. Taehyung picks him up just by wrapping his arm around Jimin's waist and Jimin's legs wrap around the older one's waist, securing him against his body. He tangles a hand in his hair and tilts it back to have better access to his lips. Taehyung lets him in, parts his lips and licks into Jimin's mouth.

"God, I've wanted to kiss you since the first time I saw you," Taehyung mutters.

Jimin hasn't said anything since he finished dancing but he figures it doesn't matter. It's so much better to hear Taehyung say all of these things. It feels good to be praised, to have Taehyung tell him how much he wants him.
