Two weeks go by faster than Jimin would have expected. He misses Taehyung, they don't text much because he's clearly busy. One night he called and asked about Jimin's days, how he was doing. It didn't last long and it was only that one time. Jimin manages. He also has a busy schedule so he gets lost in his routine and doesn't realize that days are going by until it's suddenly friday and he's getting new texts from Taehyung.

I'll be in the parking lot when you finish classes.

I hope you've missed me because I might have to hug you

for a very long while.

From: You

I'll be looking forward to it, then.

I have, actually.

From: Tae 🐻

Good. I'll see you then.

Jimin has it hard to concentrate for the rest of the day.

By the time the afternoon rolls around and his lessons are finally ending, Jimin finds himself hurrying up to get his things ready and making his way out of college campus in search of Taehyung. People are walking around because it's still quite early for some students, but Jimin forgets entirely about it the second he spots Taehyung in between his car and another.

Taehyung smiles so wide upon seeing him that Jimin can't help smile back. The second he reaches him, he lets his bags fall to the floor and wraps his arms around Taehyung's neck. It's strange, really. He feels connected to him in a way he definitely shouldn't because they've barely known each other for a month. Yet Taehyung's strong arms naturally wrap around his waist and pull him close. He takes a step back, probably shielding them from curious eyes and his hands feel warm where they press against the small of his back.

Jimin relishes in it, closing his eyes and holding on tight. They stay like that for a few long minutes, just holding each other. When Jimin takes a step back, feeling his cheeks heating up because of his own reaction, Taehyung's fingertips slide gently across his cheek, his other fingers brushing back the hair that has fallen across his face.

"I missed you," Taehyung murmurs, without a somber of a doubt.

Jimin smiles, leaning down to pick up his bags.

"Me too," he assures.

Taehyung nods gently and makes himself aside for Jimin to open the door and get in the car. He moves around the car and settles in his seat as well, sighing tiredly. It makes Jimin wonder if he's maybe just arrived from Japan.

"How was your trip?" He asks, as Taehyung turns his car on and starts driving them out of the parking lot.

"Very tiresome," Taehyung answers. "I got back yesterday but I had to get to work early to settle the things I left on standby after I left," he explains. "How about you? How's college? How are you?"

"I've just been attending classes and working at the café. Dancing occasionally," he replies. "Nothing out of this world."

"Dancing definitely is out of this world when it comes to you," Taehyung points out. "You always calm me down."

His words making Jimin's heart flutter in his chest and he smiles to himself.

"So, that's the reason why you just can't stop looking at me, huh?" He teases.
