“You left ?” Hoseok asks, eyes wide. Jimin covers his face with his hands and shakes his head.

“I mean,” he starts. “I panicked.”

Hoseok lifts his hands in the air and shakes his head again. He holds Jimin by the shoulders and looks into his eyes.

“What the fuck, Park Jimin,” he mutters. “You got to fuck him and you just disappeared?” He demands to know. “Did I not teach you anything?”

Jimin rolls his eyes and pushes him away.

“Will you leave me alone?” He asks. “I was scared, ok? I just...I’m worried,” he explains, voice lowering into a whisper.

Hoseok’s gaze soften and he pulls Jimin closer, rubbing his hand over his arm.

“Why are you scared?” He asks.

Jimin swallows down the lump in his throat.

“Just...what does it mean, you know?” He asks. “Does it mean we end things? Or does it mean he wants it to be part of the arrangement? I’m worried about where this is going to go because I feel...God, I don’t even know what I feel,” he mutters, holding his head in between his hands.

Hoseok hums, his hand moving to Jimin’s back and rubbing small circles there. When he talks again, his voice is comforting but it does nothing to sooth Jimin’s worry.

“I’ve already told you. Talking is the best way to solve these things. Running away won’t get you anywhere, baby,” he says, gently. “You like him, don’t you?” He asks. “Like...more than just physically. He makes you happy. You’ve been smiling so much since you met him.”

Jimin feels his cheeks heat up. He knows there’s no use in denying it. Hoseok can see through him just perfectly. The thing is, Jimin himself isn’t sure of what he feels. He does like Taehyung and he is happy whenever they’re together. But is that enough to say he likes him?

“I’ve only known him for a month,” he mumbles, shaking his head and leaning against the wall.

Hoseok shrugs.

“You know I think time is irrelevant when it comes to things like these,” he says. “When it comes to anything, really. You like him, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve known him. It doesn’t matter if it’s been a day or if it’s been a year. You like him, that’s it.”

Jimin opens his mouth to reply but he’s unsure of what to say. Maybe he does like Taehyung, but it’s not that much of a big deal, right? He hasn’t liked anyone in so long, he’s never really left himself like someone and give them a bit of himself.

He’s always been so focused on his things, on his life, on helping his family out. Taehyung makes him forget about all of those things that worry him and making him feel like he’s floating in a world where there aren’t any problems nor things to worry about.

“He’s just different,” Jimin finally mumbles. “I like being with him, spending time with him. He makes me feel special,” he explains.

“I think you should risk it all,” Hoseok replies, shrugging and smiling. “There’s no way he doesn’t like you back. All of this sugar baby shit is just an excuse to get closer to you, I’m sure of it,” he adds.

Jimin laughs, shaking his head.

“I don’t know, Hobi,” he finally whispers.

“You should talk to him,” Hoseok says. “Take your time if it’s hard, but you know I still think you should.”
