Kate opened the cupboard and found 3 letters, and all of them were written to the same person. Kate was more than shocked to see the name on the letter. She read out loud, "To, Samantha Parker.", and her curiosity grew even more. "What happened to you, Miss. Parker?", said the crow in a normal accent. "Horrified, are we now?", said the crow as he cackled out loudly.

Kate ignored the crow and read the letter. It happens to be, that Samantha and Stone's father were good friends. Samantha had helped his father a lot of times. Stone wanted to repay the Parkers and wrote three letters to Samantha. He couldn't send the letters as Samantha passed away when he decided to send them.

Kate read two of the letters and as she was about to read the third letter, Stone snatched the letter from her hand. "Did you not read the instructions, Miss. Parker?", but she just started walking away from him. "I am talking to you, Kate!", he held her hand tightly. "You... Lied.", she said turning towards him and teared up, still in shock.

"What do you mean, Kate?", he asked angrily, "You invaded my private cupboard!", yet she still didn't say or do anything, but stare at the ground. "I am talking to you, and do you not have any manners? Look at someone when you are talking to them!", he said. While he was busy scolding Kate, he noticed, her hands were shaking. "Kate? Kate?", "You-you sent the three away, so that-", she started walking away.

"It's not what you think Kate, try to understand-", she couldn't help but run to her room as fast as she could. "C-Cody, oh god I have to call him.", "Not so fast, Kate,", said Stone. He had teleported there. "As I said it's not what you think." "M-My mom was, m-murdered, right?", she said trembling in fear at the fact that Stone might be a murderer. "Please don't kill me!", "Kate! I am not a murderer!", but she wouldn't listen, and she started breathing heavily and gasping for air.

"Hey, Kate. It's okay to be scared. But focus and stop your fear from getting back at you.", he said. "I don't want to die, please!", she would still not listen. "Kate, oh god. Ok, listen to me, Kate, " she breathed heavily. "Kate, your mom died in an accident!", he said, as she regained her senses. "W-What?", she said still breathing heavily. She followed Stone's instructions and felt normal, but she was still weak. After a while, she said, "I'm sorry." everything went black.

"No!", she screamed, as she gasped for air. "Easy there, I'm here.", said Stone. Kate was still weak and had some water. "You know you can-", she stopped short when she noticed she had a sour throat. "Oh, dear.", said Stone, and prepared a cup of green tea. "No, I don't want anything right now, I'll vomit if I do...", she said weakly. "Do you have a fever?", asked Stone, and he held his hand on Kate's forehead, and she held his hand, tight.

"Your forehead is quite hot, let me get the thermometer.", said Stone. He got the thermometer and checked her temperature. "You'll have to rest, you have a high fever.", "How much does it show?", asked Kate, weakly.

Stone made an obvious look and said, "102 degrees Fahrenheit.", "Oh my god, I hate lying on the bed.", "Do you want ice cream?", said Stone and Kate's eyes widened. "Yes, who doesn't-", "Have this green tea, and then you can have ice cream.", "Fine, whatever.", she said, as she had green tea.

She had forgotten about Sasha but still had the '3 letters' incident on her mind, but she was still curious. "Something on mind?", asked Stone. "Yes, it's just that, why did you send them away?", "You needed to understand your life, more than anyone. Not even Cody.", he said. "Well, you have succeeded in being my professor.", "Why is that so?", "You have taught me so much. It means a lot to me, and the others.", she said with a beautiful smile, and Stone just looked at her with a faint smile.

The next day she got better and wanted to do something fun. "Let's go swimming!", she said, as she had all her supplies packed with her. "Of course,", and Kate got excited, "Not! You can't leave the house, you just got better.", "Come on! A little fun, please?", she said as she made a puppy face to make him say yes. But he was Stone, after all. "No.", "Ok,", said Kate as Stone gave her a weird look because he knew, she wasn't going to give up. "I'll go by myself then!", "You're not going alone.", "Then why don't you accompany me?", she said, as she smirked. And Stone reluctantly agreed.

When they reached the lake nearby, they noticed they were the only ones who were there. "C'mon! Let's jump in the water!", "I'm not swimming.", "You'll miss the... You know what? Leave it. I'll just leave you here, and go alone.", she said, and jumped in the water, soaking Stone's clothes in water.

After a while, when Stone called for Kate to come outside to go home, she wasn't there. "Kate? Are you coming or should I go by myself?", but there was no reply, and this made Stone worried. He was about to jump in the water before Kate came outside. "45 seconds!", she said as she got out of the lake, as Stone rolled his eyes and they went home.

At night, Stone was cooking dinner while Kate was asking random questions to him. "So, Signor. Stone,", said Kate, in an awful Italian accent, "What all can you make?", "If you can't speak Italian, at least don't act.", said Stone, leaving Kate speechless. "Oh really?", said Kate as Stone served dinner and the two started eating. "So, have you ever had pets? Apart from that speaking crow, of course. Does he even have a name? What do you call him?", asked Kate, as Stone gave her a weird look.

"I have never had pets.", "Ok, what about that crow?", asked Kate curiously. "I have never had pets, Miss. Parker. Not even a crow.", "So whose crow is that?", "What crow are you talking about?", asked Stone. Kate suddenly got up from her chair, and Stone realized, she wasn't joking. "Ok, you must be seeing things.", "N-No, the-the crow, it was... Let me show you!", and saying that, Kate grabbed his hand and led him to his office, but there was no crow.
