Chapter 24:: Love in Chaos

::BLAKE'S POV::

I wake up on the bed in the condo drenched in sweat. The morning light beams down on my face as a brief smell of must engulfs me. I passed out immediately after I got back due to that long run, but I made it and that's all that matters.

I get up as I take a long shower washing myself thoroughly. My mind from the moment I woke up, on Catalina. I have to see her today, I promised I would be there... I don't know how she will react to me showing up though since I left yesterday. I keep hurting her and I need to make things right.

After my shower I make breakfast as I turn on music and vibe for a little while just drowning into the music. If I really have any respect I will apologize to Catalina and make things right, and that's what I'm going to do.

I get dressed in a ripped blue Jean shorts, and a black tank top band top. I put on my vans as I make my way out of the condo I check my phone as I walk to the jeep and pick up a cigarette. I light it as I open my phone to reveal the information.

One missed text from Levi.

Levi: Funny how you can just stay and party without your girlfriend, she's happy by the way since you asked... and maybe you should move on Blake, she's moving. Actually moving I don't want to see you break down again.

My body winces at him bringing up mom again. I dial his number as it rings twice he answers.

"Blake?" He says surprised.
"Listen you fuck face. Aria and I have nothing to do with you, you never know how to butt out do you? She never fucking chose you and never would. Why do you think she doesn't want you anymore Levi? You overlooked her for years! She loved you and you toyed with her."
He cuts me off, "I never once played with her feelings, unlike you who wants to bring her to a different state to hurt her and leave, you're a child and handle things like one too, I can show Aria how a real man can treat her... matter of fact I will."

His words make my ears ring. I hang up as I turn my phone completely off. I'm going to pummel his face in when I see him. My chest tightens as I puff the cigarette as hard as I could almost burning it completely through.

I start my way towards the habitat as I try to let the anger of the call go away as I listen to music and enjoy the scenery. Levi is a piece of shit and he's stupid if he thinks Aria wants him anymore. Even if she doesn't want me either...

I finally make it to the habitat as I pull in to the back as usual. I notice Catalina's bike isn't here. I go in as I'm greeted with miss Freya and a big warm smile. She comes over to me away from a group of people she was talking to and cups my hands in hers.

"I'm glad you're here Blake. I'm happy you made it home safe too, I know that run wasn't easy on you." She says softly.
This woman must be a psychic of some kind. I didn't even begin running until I was away from the beach...
"I'm glad to be here... where's Catalina?" I ask eagerly.
She chuckles, "Ahh, my sweet Lina. You remind me of her, both lanterns lit on a dark night but low on fuel. Needed to be guided, but cannot guide in the dark." She pulls me into a hug as it surprises me but I return the hug as it only lasts a couple seconds she lets go and moves on to talk to the other volunteers.

Something about miss Freya she sees me and I can't figure out why she's so nice to me when I'm so angry and naive. I'm fire and she's water just like how Catalina's water... nothing I do, she's always calm. I hate how I hurt her. I saw it when I rejected her even though I led her on and we shared a kiss.
