Willow POV:

I really appreciated Luz saving me from Boscha. Honestly, I didn't know whether she actually felt like that about me, or not. I don't know why Amity, of all people, dragged Boscha away though.

I did kind of notice Luz acting strange, like she wanted to tell me something privately. After going home, I pulled out my phone and scrolled through Penstagram for a bit. However, my mind kept drifting back to what had happened earlier.

I had been reading that "Amphibia" book that Boscha had helped me get earlier. I heard someone slam their hand on the table, and I calmly looked up, thinking it was Luz. However, I was overwhelmed with the sight of pink hair.

"Um. What are you doing here?" I had asked.

She turned to me, emotions swirling in her eyes. I saw anger, and something else I couldn't quite define.

"Well, I, um." She stuttered. I found it hilarious that someone who acted so "high and mighty" was actually feeling nervous.

"Spit it out Boscha." I muttered.

She studied me for a moment, before replying, "Please don't tell anyone about the library incident. If someone found out, I-"

I finished the sentence for her. "Your reputation would be ruined, blah blah blah. Whatever Boscha, I don't care about your social life."

Anger flashed in her eyes, and she slammed her fist on the table, leaning closer to me. "You will not tell a soul, got it?"

"Or else? You'll make my life a living hell?" I mocked.

"No." She muttered, a strange expression visible on her face.

Before I could ask, Luz greeted me. She was standing next to a girl with forest green eyes and blood-red hair.

After Luz introduced me to the girl, whose name was Luna, we chatted for a bit. As soon as lunch ended, I walked to Botany, still wondering why on earth Boscha acted the way she did.
