Our stars weren't ours

Saw you like a star from heaven,
Met you like daydream,
Watched you like a pleasant dream,

Saw you hanging on a pink dress,
Thought you were going to take it,
Suddenly watched you shifting to the yellow nose ring,
Thought you were going to take it,

But you kept coming back to the colourless brain,
Thought it'd be us,
Then suddenly watched you shifting to the soft teddy,
Thought it'd take you,

But you again came back to the colourless brain,
Knew it wouldn't be us
But loved having you around.

Again you mould yourself to the round glasses,
Never did though you'd take it,
Cause the colourless brain had known you'd keep shifting,

Then saw you balancing it all,
Like ship rolling in the nights
Along with its boats,

But then you gave all your colours
To that colourless brain
Which was among the boats following you,

It wanders what if you'll take all those colours away,
As your existence has brought back
The darkest sides of the colourless one.
