Chapter 10: Family Acceptance

Meek POV

My heart started beating fast as hell.

Meek- "What you just say?"

Nic- "...I think I'm in love with you. The way you..."

I cut her off by kissing her.

Meek- "I am in love with you too...I waited so long for this moment. 6 years to be exact....I'm not letting you go."

Nic was blushing and smiling.

Meek- "Come on baby, time to see your family."

We continued to walk. We reached the door and she knocked on the door. While we waited until someone unlocked it, Nic began rummaging through her junky purse for the key.

Meek- "Clean that shit out, bae" I teased.

Nic rolled her eyes at me and said "shut up"

Nic POV

Caiah came to the door.

Nic- "Luluuuuu, my cute little baby. Come hereeee, i missed you". I hugged him so tight that he was begging me to get off of him.

Caiah- "Okay Nic, dang...I missed you too."

Nic- "Yall met at my party, but this I my boyfriend Meek. This my cute little baby brother, Caiah."

Meek dapped and hugged Caiah.

Meek- "This is a man, stop calling him cute, baby"

Caiah- "Exactly, thank you!!!!! She be treating me like I'm a baby"

I side eyed Meek and Caiah. "Cause you are a baby"

"Now I see how you be feeling when I treat you like a baby...too bad tho." Meek whispered in my ear.

Nic- "Where is Mommy?"

Caiah- "Upstairs. she wasn't feeling good"

Nic- "Baby, I'm about to go upstairs really quick. Caiah, can you show him one of the guest rooms and help him take the bags to it?"

I headed up to my mommy room.

Nic- "Mommy?"

Mama Carol- "Hya mi baybe gyal. I'm glad yuh came!"

Nic- "I missed you...Caiah said you wasn't feel good. what's wrong?"

Mama Carol- "Jussa headache...I'm feeling betta now, baybe".

Nic- "You need anything?"

Mama Carol- "No, mi child"

Nic- "Rihmeek downstairs, I want you to meet him...I never got a chance to introduce yall....."

Mama Carol- "yeh, okay. I'll be down in a second baybe gyal"

Nic- "okay, mommy"

I went to the bathroom before heading downstairs.

Meek POV

Meek- "Ayee, run that back!! I told you Bron don't play!"

Caiah- "That was lucky. Bron can't see James Harden, one on one."

Meek- "Aww, man you foolinnnnnnnn".

We was playing 2k15 on his Xbox 1. I was beating him. I thought about letting him win, but I said fuck that. Just like Nic gotta catch the work when we be rappin, Caiah gotta catch this work in video games.

Nic walked in so I paused the game.

"I'll be back in a second Lil bruh, don't be cheating either man". I heard him laugh.
