Chapter 48: Legs Was Grippin' That...

Meek POV

I was sitting there sweating bullets as I waited for the judge. Nic was squeezing my thigh and had her eyes closed. I looked across the room over at Papi and he had no idea what was even happening. I gave him my phone earlier so he was just playing games on it, chillin.

 Judge- "After looking over everything and listening to each case, I think it's best that Rihmeek Williams is placed in sole custody of Robert Williams. The $17 crime you were recently convicted of, Fahdy, was a strong factor. You both need to go to the front and do the paperwork. Court adjourned"

I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding. Nic immediately started kissing me.

Nic- "You did it baby, congrats!!!" she streaked excitedly.

Meek- "No, You did it, WE did it. Thanks for eeverything, wife", I said as I grabbed her hand and kissed her ring. I glanced over at Fah and she had her hand in her head crying. I got something for her, but imma let her suffer awhile. I want her to feel like I felt.

Nic POV

Me and Meek were kissing, about to go get Papi when we heard someone call our name.

Na- "brotherrr, sisttterrrr. You did it, Meek!!", her loud as said as she came over to us. We both stood up to hug and greet her.

Meek- "When you get here? I didn't know you was coming."

Na- "Yeah, I was a little late but I wouldn't have missed it for the world!!! And you look so pretty Nic", she said as I blushed a litttle.

Nic- "thanks girl. had to come in here killin shit, you know", I had on a long trench coat, some thigh high lace up boots, and a white blouse.

Papi ran over to us screaming "auntieee". We all laughed at how cute he is because he always excited and eager to see his family. Then he said his stomach was hurting  so we decided to all go out to eat. He went back over to Fah afterwards.

Meek POV

I needed to go sign these papers so me and my family could go.

Meek- "baby, let me go handle this paperwork so we can go. yall wait here." I kissed her cheek and headed over to Fah and Papi.

Meek- "Papi, what you doin man?", I said as I grabbed my phone from him. This little dude was all in my messages. He texted like 5 people "jijfcofjl,ovkm n" I laughed at him and screenshotted it.

Meek- "Fah, meet me at that office", I said as I grabbed Papi and gave him to Na. I went down and stood in line waiting on Fah. A couple moments later she drug herself lazily in here.

Receptionist- "How may I help you?"

Meek- "Yeah, we just left out family court and they sent us here to do some paper work because I was granted full custody of my son, Rihmeek." I looked back at Fah and she was still crying.

Meek- "But I wanna co-parent instead. I don't want all her rights taken away, I still want her in his life"

Receptionist- "You're a good man. Okay, let me grab those new papers while you too discuss what days and how it'll work", she smiled and slid the glass shut as she walked away.

Meek- "See, I not on no trash like you Fah. Even tho the judge gave me full custody, why the fuck would I take Papi from you? So he can grow up hating me because he aint have his mother in his life? nah. That ain't right. I knew I wasn't going to take him from you, I just had to let you feel how I felt. Did you feel like you were about to die and your world was ending? me too. And I swear to God, on my soul, if you EVER pull some shit like this again, i'm taking Papi for good", I said to her before pulling her in for a hug.
