Chapter 16: Let's Fuck and Make Up

Nic POV

I seen a number text Meek saying she thought she was coming over and I lost it.

Tears started streaming down my face as I realized he is doing the same thing that SB did to me...breaking my heart.

I jumped off the bed and told him to get out.

Meek- "Onika, listen to me!" he said calmy.

Nic- "FOR WHAT. SO YOU CAN LIE???"

Meek- "I never lied to you, wtf you talmbout." his voice was rising.

Nic - "GET OUT!"

Meek- "If I leave, dont call my phone telling me to come back or that you miss me or anything." he started putting his shoes on.

I just sat there and cried. I didn't want him to leave and I knew I would miss him. But my heart was broken over that text message, even tho I don't know what happened.

I went downstairs while he was gathering everything, and laid on the couch and balled up to cry.

Meek POV

I was PISSED at Nicki. She didn't even let me fucking explain nothing, she just basically broke up with me and stormed downstairs.

I grabbed my shit and a bag of clothes and headed downstairs.

I saw Nic crying hysterically on the couch with her face buried in her arms. Her little body heaved up and down and jerked constantly.

I stopped in my tracks and sat my bag down.

I went over to her and picked her up and sat her in my lap. She didnt even fight it or resist. She put her head on my chest and cried harder.

I felt a lump forming in my throat.

Meek- "Baby..." I stopped talking so my voice wouldn't crack. "I'm not leaving you like this."

Nic tried to talk between tears. "I just...don't know why I keep...getting..hurt"

Meek- "I never want to intentionally hurt hurt you....ever"

Nic stopped crying now but the tears were still rolling down her face and her nose was red and puffy.

Meek- "You tryna hear me out now.?"

Nic nodded slowly.

Meek- "I didn't wanna leave here in the first place earlier, but your attitude was pissin me off and I didn't have the means to deal with the shit. I was driving and my old friend called and asked what I was doin. I said nothing and she asked me to come over. I told her txt me the add-...."

WHAP!

Nic smacked me in the face and punched my chest.

Nic- "WHY WOULD YOU E-...

I grabbed her arms and bear hugged her.

Meek- "Stop hitting me Onika", I said sternly but calmy. "Let me finish"

Nic calmed down a little so I let her arms go.

Meek- "She texted me the address and I went. The whole time I knew it was wrong. I knew for a fact that I wasn't going to fck her or anything because I love you to much to EVER cheat on u. I just wanted to be around some peace"

I paused to check her reaction, her eyes was closed, but tears were steady falling.

Meek- "I pulled up and sat in my car. Never even told her I was outside cause i didnt really wanna be there, deep down. I drafted 100 texts to you telling you we need to fix whatever happening between us because I love you, but you ended up txtin me first. Then I pulled out the driveway relieved and happy that you was ready to work it out and I came home."
