Chapter 47: The Hearing

5 Days later

Philly

Meek POV

I woke up and just stared at the wall. Nic was laying next to me still sleeping. I look over at the alarm clock sitting on the nightstand and it read 4:23am. I sighed and looked back at the ceiling. I haven't been sleeping forreal since Nic got out the hospital. Aside from me checking on her in the middle of the night, I'm stressed about this court shit.

Even tho Nic told me not to worry, I can't help but to do so. Papi is half of my entire world and my life is riding on this shit. I already can't see him as much as I like because I be working and on the road and stuff, but I can't imagine being out of his life for good.

I felt Nic toss and turn a little before moving closer to me. She was shivering so I'm guessing she cold. I turned towards her and wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head softly. She wiggled her head to the crook of my neck and I laughed a little at her. My baby. I said a quick prayer before trying to head back to sleep.

Nic POV

I woke up with a excruciating headache and throwing up. The doctor told me I got at least one more week of the pain and I don't think I can make it. I rolled out of bed and went to hurl over the toilet.

Nic- "Why you doing this to mommy, baby?" I said as I rubbed my stomach before pulling my hair back into a sloppy ponytail.

I finished throwing up and immediately brushed my teeth and went back to the room. Meek was still sleep and I wasn't gonna bother him. He has seemed very distant and stressed this past week so I am going to let him sleep in and then wake him up how a real ones supposed to.

I eased back in the bed and grabbed my phone and started scrolling on Twitter. I felt Meek wrap his arms around my waist and pull me onto his chest as he was still sleeping. I love when he do that.

Court is at 10:00am and it's about to be 8:30am now so I figured we should get up now. I rolled over so I was on top of Meek. He was naked already and so was I. slid under the cover and kissed the tip of his dick. I find it funny that he so hard and he still sleep.

Meek POV

Nic closed her eyes and yawned. We need to get up but I'll let her sleep for 15 minutes.
