Lucenys looked at her Maiden's cloak spread out on her bed. A beautiful cloak in Velaryon blue with precise details of a marine portrait and with three dragons flying over the peaceful sky.
"O princess Lucenys." "Septa Yunet placed her hands on her shoulders and rested her chin on her left shoulder. "It is the most beautiful maiden cloak I have ever seen."
"Oh really?"
"That's right princess." Septa Yunet patted her shoulder.
Lucenys smiled looking at her maiden cloak, she carefully folded it and while she put it in her trunk Jace entered the room with a serious expression.
"Brother," Lucenys asked. "What's going on?"
"We must go to King's Landing," Jace replied. "Vaemond Velaryon has cast doubt on Joffrey's claim to the Driftmark throne now that Grandfather Corlys was wounded on the Steps. We must go and legitimize the claim."
A knot settled in Lucenys' belly. If they go to King's Landing she would see Aemond, and she couldn't delay the engagement any longer.
She was sixteen years old, and before the world she was already a woman ready to marry.
If she went to the capital, they would most likely start planning her wedding to Aemond, something that filled Lucenys with fear.
"Is it necessary for everyone to go?" Lucenys probed.
"Everyone," Jace said, stepping closer as he cupped Lucenys's face in his hands. "Mother will think of a way to delay your engagement further."
"Let's hope". Lucenys delicately touched her Seven-Pointed Star necklace.

Aemond visited his mother's room after his mother's head maid. When he entered she went to him and took him by her shoulders with a small smile.
"I assume you are aware of what will happen in the next few days?" she said calmly.
"Vaemond Velaryon wanting to take the throne of Driftmark?"
"Exactly," she replied. "Rhaenyra and her family will come to the capital to legitimize Joffrey Velaryon's claim..."
"Lucenys will come," Aemond said hopefully.
"That's right," mother smiled. "Rhaenyra has delayed the marriage for a long time. The king is in his last moments, we must pressure him to get Lucenys and you married as soon as possible. She is already sixteen, a flowered maiden and before the Gods, a woman to be married. "
Aemond smiled, her older sister has been putting off the wedding for a long time.
How has Lucenys grown in these four years?
Rumors and spies in Dragonstone informed him of Lucenys's activities. She always visited the town with doctors that she and the Master prepared, that she was in charge of taking care of, along with the wet nurses, her little brothers or her constant visits to the Sept of Dragonstone.
Beautiful
Rumors said that Lucenys was so beautiful, as if The Maiden had been born on earth.
Lucenys would come to the capital and Aemond would prevent her from leaving again.
