Lucenys paled when she saw Vhagar at Storm's End, her stomach turning, but she had to complete this quest for mother.
Perhaps Lord Borros will send her home with the protection of some knights. She began to cry lightly, Lucenys calmed Arrax as he seemed scared.
"īlon jāhor sagon sȳz, sepār umbagon gīda (We'll be fine, calm down)," Lucenys said, petting Arrax.
A group of two guards approached her.
"Princess Lucenys," a guard said. Lucenys blinked. How did he know her name? "It's nice to see you. I don't remember, but two years ago she lived in Dragonstone, in the villages. You helped my grandmother with her medicine."
"Aster Noon," Lucenys reminded the old woman whose foot began to wither. "The gods have brought us together. I need to see Lord Baratheon, I have a message from the queen."
Noon guided her towards the hall of Storm's End, leaving Arrax behind. Lucenys in her mind began to pray to the Seven Deities.
When she arrived she saw many people, the four daughters of Lord Borros lined up near the throne. Lucenys trembled when she saw Aemond near Lord Baratheon.
The scene of him abusing her came like a bolt of lightning into her mind that she felt like she might collapse to the floor in a state of screams and sobs.
"Lord Borros. I bring a message from my mother, the queen," Lucenys said politely, she took out the scroll and handed it to one of the guards next to her.
"A little while ago a raven came saying that there was a king," answered Lord Borros. "Which one is it? King or queen? The House of the Dragon doesn't seem to know who rules it":
The scroll was quickly handed to Borros, who shouted for the Maester. An old man dressed in gray approached and read and then whispered in Lord Borros' ear.
"Remember the oath of my house," said Lord Borros. "At least King Aegon came with an offer. An engagement to one of my daughters."
Lucenys sighed in relief. If Aemond was here it was to get engaged to one of the Baratheon girls.
She would be free, although stained, she could spend the rest of her days in Dragonstone caring for her many nephews.
"The offer speaks of my brother Daeron," Aemond interjected, staring, Lucenys bristling like a frightened cat. "I am already betrothed to Princess Lucenys."
Lucenys looked at the Stormlord in fear.
"Go away, girl," he told her furiously. "And tell your mother's bitch that the lord of Storm's End is not a dog she can hiss when she needs it."
Lucenys looked down in defeat and turned around.
"Wait... Lady Strong," Aemond's voice made her pause. "I am upset that my fiancée has fled the capital just days before our wedding."
A tear ran down her cheek. Did he still want to marry her after all the damage he did to her?
"You hurt me". Lucenys said with a broken voice. "I won't go with you."
"Māzigon naejot aōha valzȳrys, Lucenys! (Come to your husband, Lucenys)," Aemond shouted, wanting to get closer to her. "Did you really think I would let my wife fly around the Seven Kingdoms usurping Aegon's crown?!"
As best she could she took out the dagger from her holding me close to her body.
"Not in my castle!" shouted Lord Borros. "Escort Princess Lucenys to her dragon":
Lucenys paled and followed the guards who left her alone as soon as she walked out the door. The rain became more torrential.
Vhagar was still there.
