I got in my apartment and went to my room locking the door, i sat on the bed thinking, why wasn't i over him, it's been a year since i saw him, i should've gotten over him in no time, my phone buzzed

Jihoon:did you text Wonwoo?

Hyejin:no but i think he has class too

Jihoon:sorry Hyejin I would take care of you when I'm home just stay in bed and drink water

i closed my eyes and dozed off. I woke up feeling frozen to death, and my head felt so heavy, i need to go to the kitchen,

i should keep medicine and water in my room, i stood up and gravity pulled me down, i didn't faint but i was too weak to move, i checked the time 11,

i only slept for 30 minutes, why did it feel like hours, i heard a knock on the door, i had blurry vision, they came in and all i saw was figure standing infront of me, they kneeled in front of me

i saw their hand touch my forehead, their touch felt familiar, "geez Hyejin you're literally boiling"their voice was familiar too, they helped me up and sat me on the bed, i wanted to ask who was it but i had no energy

"did you eat?"they asked, i shook my head, "lay down i will get you food and medicine"they said and i did what they said, i closed my eyes and fell asleep again.

I slowly opened my eyes as i felt cold cloth on my forehead, my vision cleared and i saw who it was, Soonyoung, I panicked and pushed his hand away

"what are you doing here?"i asked, "Jihoon asked if i could take care of you"he said in a monotone, "i will leave after i make sure your fever is down"he said, he handed me a cup of water and a pill, i took them

after i swallowed the pill i looked at him, he had dark circles and his blonde hair fell on his eyes, his lips that used to be full and pink they're pale and chapped

"i made you a sandwich eat it"he said not making eye contact, i felt bad, he's not the Soonyoung i used to know, he looked pale and thin, unconsciously my hand went to his cheek and he looked at me, we locked eyes, staring into each other's souls

a tear rolled down my cheek, he wiped it, "don't cry please"his voice softened, he grabbed my hand that was on his cheek holding it, "i promise i will go once you're feeling better just don't cry i don't like seeing you cry"he scooted closer, i wiped my cheeks and nodded

I grabbed the plate and started eating, i felt his thumb rub my hand softly and i didn't mind, i miss him so much, i finished my sandwich and my water, he let go of my hand and moved so i can lay down

he stood up to leave but i grabbed his hand, he looked at me surprised, "do you need anything?"he spoke, "stay"i said, "until i fall asleep"i added, he sat down on the bed, i closed my eyes

after a few moments he probably thought i was asleep, because he kissed my forehead and whispered "get well soon" before leaving.
