Chapter 7 - Blue-eyed freak!

Narrator's POV

Oh, finally, I'm back! Phew! Tyler and Ashley forced me to play Charades with them whiles they narrated. Weirdos.

Anyway (clears throat) Sorry. 'CUT!'

Anyway, the next day, Amber's parents were about to go to court when suddenly a lawyer rushed up to them.

[Lawyer] The judge ain't coming today.

[Investigator] You're kidding. Let's go.

The investigator told the police officers to bring in Ana and Chappelle. They waited for about three hours before coming to the conclusion that the judge wasn't coming.

[Lawyer] Told ya

The investigator (John Bryce) dialed the judge's number.

[Judge Blair] Hello?

[John B.] Hello Judge Blair, this is Detective John Bryce

[Judge Blair] How may I help you?

[John B.] Sorry to bother, but you have a schedule...no, had scheduled appointment with us for a court case today. At 2pm.

[Judge Blair] Really? I'm sorry I had no idea. Let's reschedule... let's see...hmm...oh... Saturday at...3pm. Saturday at 3pm.

[John B.] Thank you

The judge's behavior was surprising to John Bryce. He decided to ignore it, for the mean time.

[John B.] Ms. Amber now Crane, I know you are the adoptive child of Mr. and Mrs. Mann but real child of the Cranes.

[Amber] What's gonna happen to them?

[John B.] Well, the judge still isn't around so we might as well take them back to custody. We hope for an appointment next Saturday at 3pm.

[Ashley] Thank you Mr. Bryce

[John B.] My pleasure

Then Mr. Bryce walked off.

[Ashley] Come on sis, let's go home.

Suddenly Tyler parked. He rolled down the window when Amber and Ashley passed by.

[Tyler] Hey girls, how was the court case?

[Amber] It didn't happen

[Tyler] Why do you mean

[Ashley] The...the judge never came

[Tyler] Why

[Ashley] How would I know? The judge said he had no idea, or at least that's what Detective Bryce said.

[Tyler] The investigator?

[Ashley] Yes, they rescheduled for next Saturday at 3pm.

[Tyler] Okay, if you guys are going, I would love to drop you off. Hope that's fine.

[Ashley] Yeah, Amber?

[Amber] Yeah, it's fine.

Then Tyler opened the door for them and they got in. As Tyler was about to sit back at the driver's side, he thought he saw someone familiar who passed by in the background. He tried to take a closer look but then the person ran off into the woods.

He wanted to follow but the girls were still in the car. He ignored him and tried to sit back inside again when the unknown person was seen gazing right at him; like as if he was spying. Tyler then had an idea. He pretended to sit back inside, and the stranger moved forward.

[Tyler] Amber, Ash, there's a weird guy spying on us. I'm gonna go after him. If anything, don't step out of this car.

They both nodded and Tyler ran after the stranger. The weird guy ran off but Tyler was able to pin him down.

[Tyler] Who are you? Why are you spying on me and my friends?

[Stranger] No I won't tell you. Remember me?

Tyler stood up in shock as he realized that it was that guy from the mall.

[Tyler] It's you! You blue-eyed freak!

[Stranger] You know you have blue eyes too right?

[Tyler] What are you doing here?

[Stranger] I heard a relative of mine was here, so I came.

[Tyler] A relative of yours? Who?

[Stranger] That's not important. Remember it was just yesterday that you made my nose bleed. Now it's your turn.

Blue-eyed weirdo punched Tyler with everything he got. Tyler tried to attack him but just kept getting hit. Soon enough, he was on the floor. Everything was blurred as the weirdo ran away. Then everything went blank...
