Chloe barges into Ellie and Derek's bedroom with coffee. Derek is lying asleep as Chloe got into the bed

" You up? " Chloe asked

" No. " derek said into the pillow

Chloe hands Ellie to the coffee

"The Wicked Witch is dead." Chloe said

"Metaphorically dead, or dead dead? " Ellie asked

"Who are we talking about? " derek asked

"Hahn. " they said together

"Her name is off the surgical board. Her surgeries have been canceled. I don't know how or why, but I do know Hahn is gone." Chloe said

"It's too bad. She was really talented. You're not talking to me. " Derek said as they both looked to him

"Mm-mmm." Ellie said as Derek gets out of bed.

Ellie stood on the rig as she got to work

"Unidentified man with prolonged extrication time. Had to fish him out of a garbage truck. Multiple crush injuries, open fractures, GCS three, couldn't unhook him. " the paramedic said

"Unhook him?" Callie asked

"His femur's broken in half and is puncturing his torso. He's impaled. "

"Impaled on himself? " callie asked

"Human pretzel. "

"That'll do. "

"Wow." Ellie said as chloe joins them in the trauma room.

"Check his popliteal pulse. "

"I'm getting nothing. " ellie said

" 'Cause his knee's over here. Sleeping in the Dumpster and they started crushing the trash? That's a bad day. " callie said as Sadie comes in.

"I'm here. What did I miss? "

"Your first day. Stand back and shut up. Breath sounds are clear and equal. Both sides." Chloe said

"Unbelievable. No punctured lung. " Owen said

"We need a portable X-ray and an ultrasound. " callie said as Derek and Mark arrive.

"Someone page us? " mark amsed

" I did. " owen said

" You did? That's a first. " mark said as Chloe smirked at the comment

"So's this. I've seen guys cut in half, amputations, eviscerations, but I've never seen anything like this. I wondered if you could help." Owen said

Ellie stood in the hallway with derek and smiled "hunt is an ass" Ellie said as derek looked to his girlfriend and smiled

"Well I won't argue with you there. Whats going on with him and Chloe?" He asked as Ellie sighed

"I don't know I think it is just harmless flirting" Ellie said as Derek smiled
