𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 {𝗗.𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱}

𝟭𝟴. 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 {𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿}

Ellie knew how a lot had happened. She and Derek had got engaged and she was happy. She knew that Derek had made her happy and she knew that since loosing her and Derek's baby it was a lot and she didn't know how to feel but she knew that she was trying to move past it

Ellie lay in bed to Derek as he looked to her and smiled as he took a hold of her hand and smiled

"Talk to me" he said as she turned to face him and smiled

"This shouldn't of happened with us" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"I know" he said as she smiled

"Do you think it's my fault because of what o said to Lexie" she said as he turned to face her and smiled. He knew how they were both struggling from the miscarriage and he knew that the last thing he wanted was to loose Ellie

"This isn't your fault. We just have to focus on us and the future as we are getting married" he said as he grabbed her from behind as he buried his head into her neck as she looked to him and smiled

"Yeah well mark needs to know what his girlfriend did and just so you know she's not invited to our wedding as if she's there Chloe won't he and Chloe is my family and if Lexie is there I won't be and I'm the bride so I have to be" she said as Derek smiled

"Well I'm not exactly talking to mark right now am I?" He said as Ellie rolled her eyes

"It's mark the two of you will make up" Ellie said

"Hmm" Derek said as he leant on and kissed her

"Does it bother you that I don't want to wear it? Because I ... I could. " Ellie said as she looked to the engagement ring

"I don't want you to wear it. You' not a ring bride. " derek said

"What? I'm ... not really a ... church-wedding bride or a poofy-white-dress bride either."

"We'll get naked and get married in a field of flowers." Derek said as Ellie laughed

"Any excuse to see me naked... I'm not a naked bride." Ellie said

"What about scrubs? We can get married in scrubs." He said

"Ooh, now there's a wedding I could get into. " Ellie said

"We gotta go." He said as she nodded

"So I told Izzie she could help out with the wedding. Helps keep her mind off of everything. And I'll tell her about the scrubs and the no church. Don't ask me why Alex and Meredith convinced me it would be a good idea" she said as he smiled

"I guess we have a theme... simplicity. " derek said as They enter the kitchen.  Chloe is sitting eating breakfast

"You know, maybe they could make you a bouquet of scalpels and clamps. " Derek said as Ellie smiled

"Oh, yeah, that would be fun. I think I would have to run it by Izzie first" Ellie said. Derek smiled, he knew he wanted to do all he could to make Ellie smile and make her happy especially after the miscarriage as he knew the toll it had taken on her
