𝟮𝟭. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 {𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿}

Bailey walked into room where the residence were asleep around izzies bed

"Any changes overnight? " she asked waking them up

"No. " Cristina said as Bailey is paged.

"Oh, it's the chief. Somebody better make a coffee run. You all look like hell. " Bailey said

"I gotta be in surgery in ten minutes. Um, mer, will you let me know? " george said

"Yeah. " meredith said as Bailey and George leave.

"We should go, too. It's probably gonna be a while" meredith said

"Shepherd said she'd wake up in the morning. What did he tell you? Was that all crap? What did he say? " Alex said as he looked to Ellie

" He said it may be a while. " Ellie said

"She's gonna wake up." Alex said

Ellie stood at the nurses station as she looked to Chloe "hey are you okay" Ellie asked. Ellie knew how she was worried over Chloe and what she was going through and she knew mark sloan didn't help. Lexie was rubbing it in her face and Ellie didn't like it.

She didn't like how Chloe had been the one crying into her arms over a man that Ellie knew didn't deserve her

"Are you better? " Chloe asked as Ellie frowned

"What? Cristina: You know, with your therapy. Uh, whatever. You said you got well. Well, are you ... better? Or are you just, you know, fake better? " Chloe asked

"What do you mean? Cristina: I'm asking you if people, you know ... I mean, are you actually different? I mean, do you feel different? I'm considering going myself" Chloe said

"Oh wow well...I'm getting married today. Mm-hmm. City Hall. No muss, no fuss. Just quick and dirty. " ellie said

" Well, uh ... do you want me to come? " Chloe asked

"No, no. just letting you know. " ellie said

"Oh, no, wait. Uh, uh ... Okay, this is my grocery list." Chloe said as she gives her a grocery list on a post-it note.

" It's old. Uh, this ... this is new. " Chloe said as she gives her a clean post-it.

"Um, this is my favorite pen, so I want it back. " Chloe said as she hands her a pen.

"Borrowed. And all of it's blue, so you're covered." Chloe said as Ellie is smiling.

"You know, for the first time you seem actually really happy." Chloe said as Ellie smiled

"It's been a lot loosing the baby and that but I am happy I really am" Ellie said

"Dude. Unidentified male, dragged by a bus. He's clamped down, so we couldn't intubate. "
