293. Plans Always Seem To Fail

It is no use to plan a day
It won't go well anyway
Why decide how far it goes
Before you know where the wind blows
Things get done and things do not
Alas at least one thing was forgot
The next day you'll try again
And we can all make pretend
That tomorrow will be different
It makes no difference
What you plan or don't
Things just won't
Ever work as planned
Even with a strong command
There are things years in plan
That have been pushed off and off again
Areas that need a lot of focus
Things more pressing than hocous pocus
Those things alas must wait some more
Rotting away at the door
Of opportunities and motivation
Lost at a different location
Some things did in fact get complete
But oh isn't it neat
That all the planned things did not
Left to rot and be forgot
For a day that might never come
