The queen sits upon her tower
The one us peasants built
A daunting difficult task to be sure
She will not leave her tower
She shares her royal privilege with none
None except her little friend
She sometimes throws out
Then she whines until it's returned
The queen sleeps in her tower
Not as tall as previous structures
But far better to rest in
She likes to attack her castle turrets
They're fun to grab and bounce
She was peaceful sleeping before I put her in her tower
At first on the castle steps
But then I had to move her
The steps were not yet finished
So I put her in her tower
Higher than everything else
And content she laid right into it
Only moving for food
Or for her little friend of course
The queen has had company of one in the tower
This one in the bottom room
He liked the dark and softness
The cats so far have been pleased with their new tower
At least the two that have gone in it
