TWO WEEKS LATERAZASAKHE
Assurance was the only thing I needed to know that I was doing the right thing. These past two weeks have been blissful. It only took us that kiss to know that we are really into each other. We promised each other to take things slowly and that also includes intimacy. Pressing my lips, I watch him walk to to towards me.
Me: Hey.
Akhona: You look beautiful.
Me: You don’t look bad yourself.
Akhona: I’m see this glow in you.
Me: I’m just happy.
Akhona: And that’s all I wanted for you.
Me: My time is limited. I promise I’ll stay longer the next time I visit.
Akhona: Thank you for popping by.
Me: I’ll also come with the kids.
Akhona: Please do so. I miss them.
Me: And they miss you too. I’m building two flats back at home for them.
Akhona: I hope you’re not misusing his money. Don’t let it change who you are.
Me: I’m using my salary to build not his money. Since you’ve got three baby mama’s and 5 kids I added two more flats so that the rent goes straight to the kids.
Akhona: Won’t it cause conflict?
Me: No, each knows that which flat are they suppose to collect the money from. Natasia will be taking the one that was already there and it’s her responsibilities to make sure her tenants follow the rules and so are the others. Thembi’s mother has her own responsibility and so Londeka.
Akhona: I like what you did. I’m happy you’re talking care of them.
Me: You’ll be surprised to hear that the idea come with Natasia. She’s the one who gave me an idea and I ran with it.
Akhona: Natasia? As in my Natasia? The coloured woman?
He fires the questions at once making me to laugh.
Me: Yes that Natasia.
Akhona: She’s growing up.
I pick up my phone and look at the time.
Me: Bhuti time is not on my side and I’m sorry I came empty handed.
I leap up to my feet.
Akhona: Where are rushing of too?
Me: We decided to make things official. I’m getting married in 2 and half hours.
Akhona: (shocked) What?
Me: I know what’s on your mind but it still doesn’t change anything. We are just officiating things in front of people and God this time.
Akhona: Are you happy though?
Me: My smile should be your answer.
Akhona: Well in that case let me not keep you. Wishing you all the best little sis.
Me: Thank you for the blessings. I love you.
Akhona: I love you too.
I turn on my heels and make my way inside. My phone rings as I step out.
Me: (smiling) Hey.
Kagiso: It’s not him but me.
Me: Kagiso this relationship is not working for me. What are you doing with my man’s phone ? Please don’t tell me you’re seeing as a potential lover because his already taken.
