Lloyd in the World of Naruto

The Battles

~I'm skipping now to the part where they fight each other since I can't figure out what else to write about the forest.~

Y/n's POV

I watched as the names spun on the board. It landed on me and Shino. I walked down to the area and waited. Shino showed up on the other side. We got the signal and I weaved my hands. "Water Style: Water Sprout!" I yelled and blew water at him. He moved out of the way and sent bugs at me. I wrinkled my nose and had my silver sand block the attack. I then sent my sand at him and wrapped it around him. "Silver Coffin," I murmured clenching my fist. Though I only made it tight enough that he wouldn't get back up. He collapsed and I won. I walked over to Lloyd and Gaara. "See? I'm not weak," I said.

Lloyd gave me a warning look. Gaara nodded. "You ended the fight quickly but yes, you aren't weak," he said. "Which means you can live."

"Good to know," I said under my breath. We turned to the board again. It landed on Lloyd and Shikamaru.

Lloyd sighed. "My turn."

Lloyd's POV

I walked down and waited as the guy came down. I have yet to meet this one. "I heard you met most of my colleagues," Shikamaru said.

"I did," I said watching him warily. So I saw when his shadow started reaching for me. I flipped repeatedly. Dodging it each time. I watched it retreat and looked at him. "Nice move," I said.

"Thanks."

I realized I couldn't. "Dammit," I growled.

"And it looks like I caught you," he said walking over to me.

I smirked. "Not yet." I twisted and managed to break out of it with spinjitsu. I landed on the stone fingers. "I believe I escaped," I said matter-of-factly.

"H-how?" He said shocked.

I shrugged. "I'm not like the rest of you. I don't use Chakra. I just use my strength." I jumped down and punched the ground. Earth surrounded him. He was trapped. I waited for him to break out.

Instead, I heard, "Okay, he wins."

I had the earth drop. "Sorry about that," I said as I helped him to his feet.

"No, I get it. You wanted to win and you did." He paused. "You're pretty powerful."

I shook my head. "I'm not that powerful. I've just spent all of my life, fighting bad guys who were way more powerful than I was. So I had some practice."

He looked at my headband. "I didn't think Suna got many bad guys."

I smiled a little. "I'm in Suna now but that's not where I grew up." We started walking together to the top part. 

He frowned. "Where are you from then?"

"Another world," I muttered.

"Hry, Lloyd!" Naruto yelled as he ran over. "You were amazing. I hope I get to fight you."

I blinked. "Uh, I'm not sure which one of us would win that fight."

"Probably you," Y/n said. "I was told to tell you you're allowed to live." 

I sighed. "Did he actually say that or are you just saying to be irritating?"

"He said but I offered to deliver it," she replied.

"Of course you did." I turned to the confused Shikamaru and Naruto. "You'll see eventually," I told them. We looked at the board and it was Gaara for someone named Rock Lee. I watched their fight and saw how badly Gaara injured Lee. I cringed at the blood exploding from around the sand. I glanced at Y/n and saw she was pale.

"He's horrible," she whispered.

I nodded. "But people can change and he's been trying."

"Lloyd, look what he's doing to the poor guy," she hissed.

I glared at her and then looked back at the fight. One of the Sensei's blocked Gaara's move. Gaara popped up beside me. "He was weak," Gaara said.

I shook my head. "I say he was pretty strong. He held out against you a lot."

Y/n gave both of us a look of disgust and moved away. "What's wrong with her? I'm not going to try and kill her," Gaara said watching her go.

"Umm, she's not happy with how you fought Rock Lee."

"Why?"

I pointed. "Look how badly you injured him."

"Shukaku..."

"Isn't you," I said sharply.

He winced which made me stare. He actually cared about my opinion. "I have orders not to let him come out until..."

"I know," I interrupted. "That's something I'm not going to participate in."

Gaara blinked. "But you have to. We have to listen to what the Kazekage said."

I bit my lip and tried to figure out how to tell him that I saw Orochimaru kill that Kazekage and take his place. "Umm..."

"Lloyd, why is Y/n mad at you again?" Temari asked coming over.

"We have different opinions about someone," I replied.

She frowned. "That person seems to get between you two a lot."

I scowled. "This is only the second time."

"I'm standing right here," Gaara muttered.

I winced. "Sorry, Gaara." I turned to Temari. "Look, Y/n and I are friends. Gaara and I are friends. If she can't handle it then that's her problem."

Temari shook her head. "You do know she's trying to be friends with both of you but you're making it difficult."

"No, she's making it difficult," I corrected.

Temari made a frustrated sound and walked away. "Y/n told the others that she is a Jinchuriki while you were out walking and meeting new people," Gaara said. "It somehow made Temari and her closer."

"Well, Y/n should have a female friend to talk to since girls don't talk to guys the same way they talk to girls."

"I wonder why?"

I shrugged. "Not something we'd ever understand." We went back to our hotel room.

Y/n came over to us. "Okay, I overreacted a bit."

I raised an eyebrow. "Did you now? I hadn't noticed."

She glared. "Could you stop being a jerk for five seconds?" She looked at Gaara. "I'm sorry for how I've treated you. I really want to be friends with you." She glanced at me. "And Lloyd. So can you both forgive me?"

"I can," I said. Then I gave Gaara a look.

He looked away. "Yeah, I forgive you and I'm sorry too."

She smiled. "I forgive you too."

"We have a month to train before the final battles. We should get ready."

"Wait!" Y/n yelped as I handed her the number she was supposed to pick. "Who am I supposed to be going up against?"

I looked at the ground. "Me," I mumbled.

"Damn, I should have stayed mad at you then," she joked.

I smiled slightly. "Yeah."

"At least you don't have to hold back against me like you did with Shikamaru."

I gave her a dark look. "I held back because I didn't want to hurt him and I'm not sure I'm going to go all out on you."

She snorted. "Oh, come on. I won't hold back when I'm fighting you." She paused. "Hey, at least you don't run on Chakra. I do and I'll run out. Eventually."

I shook my head and went into my room and fell asleep.
