Lloyd in the World of Naruto

Two Years Later

Y/n's POV

Lloyd, Temari, Kankuro, and I are all Gaara's Guards and we were not able to save him from the damn Akatsuki. They got his Jinchuriki. Lloyd now is very unhappy because Madara just told us that he was declaring war. "Is he crazy?" I asked Gaara. "Putting everyone to sleep is not peace!"

Gaara shrugged. "I don't know what he's thinking. If I did, I would be able to do something about it."

"He wants Naruto's tailed beast," Lloyd muttered.

"It's a good thing we're on our way to talk to Kakashi then because wherever he is, Naruto should be," Temari said.

"Yes," Lloyd said quietly.

"Hey, are you okay? You've been off since Sasuke showed up," I said to him.

He blinked. "What? I'm fine."

"It's not your fault for the way he turned out, Lloyd," Gaara said. 

Lloyd sighed. "I know. But I was friends with him and I couldn't even touch him. What's up with that? I thought we got along quite well."

"Remember, Naruto couldn't even get him to stay when he went to Orochimaru," I reminded him.

He looked away. "Yeah, I know."

We all landed in front of Kakashi and Naruto. "Hey," I said smiling.

"Y/n? Lloyd? Gaara? What are you doing here?" Naruto said.

We all looked at Gaara. Gaara looked at Lloyd, who snorted. "You're the Kazekage," Lloyd said.

"You should deliver the message," Gaara replied.

Lloyd huffed. "Kakashi, Donzo sucked and now everyone wants you to be the Hokage."

"Madara just declared war on all villages too," I added. "Then he took Sasuke with him."

"Sasuke?" Naruto said.

Lloyd walked over to him. "He's not the same, Naruto. Gaara and I both fought him and he refuses to change."

"You might have to kill to help him," Gaara added.

Naruto shook his head. "I can't. He's my friend and teammate."

Lloyd's POV

"Not anymore," I said gently.

"What do you mean?" Naruto said.

I shook my head. "I tried to remind him of everything that he enjoyed in Konoha but it didn't work. I don't think he's going to change his mind."

"I have to try."

I bit my bottom lip. "Okay." 

We turned to go when Gaara said, "I consider you a friend, Naruto. If Sauke is your friend then you will do what's right for him." We left.

"Did you have to say that?" I asked.

"Yes, did you?" Y/n said.

Gaara glanced at both of us. "What do you mean?"

"You basically just said that you would kill him if he turned to the opposite side," I said.

"Yes, and I believe you promised not to threaten to kill your friends," Y/n said.

"I said what I needed to. I hope he changes his mind and does what's right," Gaara said.

I thought for a minute. "Yeah, I hope he does too. But I can't even kill my own friend." I looked at Gaara. "I think Naruto might be able to change Sasuke's mind. He was able to do it for you."
