Lloyd in the World of Naruto

A Week Later

Lloyd's POV

After a week I was good enough to go home. Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, Shino, and Kiba all walked me to the gate. "You didn't have to walk with me here," I said.

"Of course, we had to come. You're our friend," Sakura said.

I smiled. "Thank you."

"Do you want someone to go with you?" Kakashi asked.

I shook my head. "I should go alone. That is the whole reason that Baki left."

"Okay. Then be careful."

"I will." I turned to go.

"Hey, Lloyd," Naruto said.

I turned back. "Hmm?"

"From what I saw in your battle against Y/n, you're pretty strong."

"Uh-huh. I'm not going to fight my friends."

"Darn."

I laughed and walked away. I had probably gotten a mile away when Y/n landed in front of me. "Took you long enough," she said blowing a strand of hair out of her face.

I snorted. "Have you been waiting for me for the entire week?"

"Yes. What took you so long?"

"I gave up a lot of my strength. It took a while for me to get it back."

She shook her head. "Maybe you shouldn't have done what you did," she said as we started walking.

"We need to be allies with Konoha. Now, are you here by yourself?"

"No. Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara are just up ahead. they sent me to wait for you closer to the gate."

"How is Gaara?"

She smiled. "He's now someone I can definitely be friends with."

I let out a relieved sigh. "That's good."

She nodded. "It is. He's so much nicer now. He doesn't threaten to kill people anymore."

I chuckled. "I'm glad." We came up to their camp and, to my surprise, Gaara actually hugged me. "Uh, hi, Gaara," I said hugging him back.

Y/n giggled. "I told you he's different."

"You will still be my friend though, right?" Gaara asked me.

I snorted. "I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been trying to get you to change."

He smiled a little. "That's what Y/n told me."

I scowled at her playfully. "Did you tell him everything I told you?"

"Everything that had to do with him," she said.

I rolled my eyes. "Thanks."

"You're welcome."

"Well, we should get going," Temari said smiling. I nodded and we headed off.

Y/n's POV

While Lloyd had been healing in Konoha, Gaara and I talked and became friends. He said he won't kill anyone because they weren't as strong as he is and I told him that I'll stop being mean to him. I could tell Lloyd was glad we were friends now and that he didn't have to argue with me about Gaara. "So what does Baki have planned for us when we return?" Lloyd asked.

"Well, he doesn't know we came for you," I said. "So probably something that will punish us for leaving Suna without permission."

Lloyd smiled. "Yeah, because walking back to Suna by myself was supposed to be my punishment for not listening to orders."

I nodded. "True."

"How did you know that the Kazekage we came with was not our Kazekage?" Gaara asked.

"I didn't know exactly. I just felt like something was off so..." He shrugged. "I went with my instincts and helped the ones I knew actually needed help."

"And you weakened yourself enough that you couldn't come home with us," Kankuro said.

Lloyd winced. "Yeah. But to be fair, I managed to get most of the teams in Konoha to stop thinking Gaara's a monster." He snorted. "Actually, I had help doing that."

I blinked. "You did?"

"Yeah, Naruto helped me."

"That's good."

"Yeah, he's a Jinjuriki too." He paused. "Oh, and they might know you are one too, Y/n."

"That's fine. They should know there are two one-tail beasts."

Lloyd nodded. "That's what I thought. Though I told them when I was too exhausted to care."

"Good to know," I said giggling.

He smiled. "Not my fault. I was just too tired to care and in pain from giving up my strength."

"That's what you did?" Temari asked. "Baki wouldn't tell us."

"Huh. Yeah, I gave the Hokage some strength so he could finish sealing Orochimau's arms." He frowned. "Actually, he might have wanted to seal Orochimaru all the way but was losing strength and I couldn't help him. I kept him alive long enough to just do the arms."

"Wow," I said.

There was a thump and we all turned toward that. A few more thumps and there were several people. Lloyd went completely still. "Lloyd? Is something wrong?" Temari asked.

His jaw tightened. "Yes."

"What is it?" Kankuro asked.

"You see the people around us?" He said through gritted teeth. We all nodded while exchanging bewildered looks. We've never seen Lloyd this mad. "Let me put this another way." Lloyd clenched his fists and breathed slowly. "Guys, meet the Ninja."
