"hey innie," felix smiled as he picked up the boys legs from the couch to sit down, placing them back onto his lap.

"hi, lixie," jeongin smiled as he blew into the hot mug of peppermint tea, eyes glued to the drama he had playing on the tv.

"how are you feeling?" felix curiously watched the younger take the smallest sip of the hot tea, careful not to burn himself. jeongin paused the tv, turning his full attention to felix.

"baby is making me a bit nauseous these day, thankfully no vomiting though. seungmin read online somewhere that peppermint tea helps with nausea, so he bought some and made me some the second i told him i was feeling nauseous," jeongin smiled slightly at the thought of his caring boyfriend, taking another sip of his drink.

"i meant how are you doing," the blond placed his hand on top of jeongin's legs, looking into the boys eyes.

"h-honestly? i'm scared lixie. i have no idea what i'm doing or supposed to do or expect," jeongin sighed as he looked at felix, "but i'm also happy. i'm lucky to have seungmin by my side, makes me feel less scared. i just don't want to mess up and be a bad parent to our baby."

felix smiled softly, "you could never be a bad parent, jeonginnie, you will be amazing. you and seungmin. no one truly knows what to expect, but you have each other. and us, don't forget that."

"thank you," jeongin shyly smiled.

"when are you going to tell jyp about the baby, anyways?" felix sat crisscrossed to face jeongin as he did the same, careful not to spill his tea.

"next week actually, after my next appointment," jeongin took a deep breath, nauseous again after thinking about telling jyp, "i'll be officially into my second trimester, which we wanted to wait to tell him once i was out of the danger zone. i'm actually twelve weeks today. seungmin was quick to tell me first thing in the morning how baby is now the size of a lime."

after seungmin and jeongin announced the baby to the rest of the group, chan and jeongin had agreed that the three of them would talk to jyp after jeongin's next prenatal appointment. it's been about a week and three days, but everyone seemed to do little things that jeongin noticed and was grateful for. one of them even placed one of the sonogram photos on the refrigerator with cute magnets.

"seungmin honestly seems so happy about the baby, you really got lucky with that pup," felix beamed at the younger boy.

"he really is. he's always looking things up, and he even downloaded a pregnancy tracker app on both of our phones. i swear he checks it way more than i do," jeongin giggled, subconsciously placing a hand on his still flat belly.

felix smiled at his friend as they talked a bit more before felix decided to watch the drama with him, jeongin didn't complain. he enjoyed some quality friendship time. deep down, felix wondered if he'd get the chance to experience the happiness of becoming a parent too.

the next week came by quick, too quick for jeongin's liking.

jeongin had his doctors appointment for his thirteenth week check up. to say that jeongin was a bit sad that his belly still isn't showing would be an understatement. he just wanted to feel his baby already. even though seungmin constantly reminded him that the baby was healthy and would make their appearance soon, jeongin still felt sad.

he also had to get his blood drawn for multiple tests, the younger boy hated being poked. he sucked it up, knowing it was for the good of their baby.

so there they were, a few days later in the car. chan was driving, seungmin in the passenger and jeongin volunteered to sit in the back. he had the latest sonogram in his hand, smiling softly as he traced the baby with his pointer finger.

"baby is looking more and more like a baby," jeongin smiled, eyes sparking as he looked at the two boys in front of him.

"i know, baby is developing so well," seungmin smiled as jeongin handed him the sonogram.

chan parked the car at the company parking lot, turned to look at the sonogram as he cooed at the small human, "so tiny."

"okay guys, let's go talk to jyp. i already gave him a rundown of the situation, he just wants to go over things with you guys." chan smiled at the two, as he began getting out of the car.

they all walked into the building, jeongin clutching onto seungmin's arm. he held the envelope with paperwork and the sonogram close to his chest.

"come in!" jyp said when chan knocked on his office door.

"hello, welcome! sit, please," jyp smiled as he got up and pointed at the three chairs in front of him.

the three boys greeted him and bowed before sitting down.

"ah, the troublemakers. so chan told me about the new addition to stray kids," jyp smiled at jeongin and seungmin, "congratulations you two. children are a blessing. how far along?"

jeongin nervously smiled, nodding slightly, "yes, thank you. um, thirteen weeks. i brought some paperwork that confirms the pregnancy in case you wanted to take a look at that."

"no need, jeongin, i believe you guys. chan mentioned to me that for the time being, you'll be doing soft promotions and activities until you can, then take it easy and do recordings for new music?" jyp leaned on his elbows and placed his hands together.

"yes, that's the plan, if we're able to," seungmin grabbed jeongin's slightly shaking hand.

"yes of course! i do like that idea, you guys really are like a family," jyp smiled at all three, "the choice is ultimately yours."

"i want to stay in the group," jeongin looked up at jyp, pleading with his eyes.

"then it's settled. you can stay in the group and continue on as planned," jyp clasped his hands together, smiling at them, "once again, congratulations!"

"one more thing, if i may," jeongin suddenly said shyly, "we would like to announce the pregnancy to stay ourselves, if that's possible? then release a statement through you."

"of course! this is in your control. you just let me know when you want me to send out that official statement." the older man smiled at the young couple.

the three got up after thanking him and headed back to the car.

"that was way easier than expected," seungmin breathed out.

"i'd like to think he has a soft spot for family," chan smiled as they got in the car.
