"come on guys, time for a sound check!" chan cheered to the sleepy boys. "i'll get you guys some coffees on our way there don't you worry!" chan babied them so much, not that they're complaining of course.

all eight members walked to the cars and as promised, chan stopped by a starbucks on their way to the venue. the event wasn't until another two months but chan thought it would be a great idea to practice at the venue to get a feel of how it would be when they actually performed there.

the car came to a slow stop once they reached their destination and scattered out of the car one by one. seungmin put his arm around jeongin's shoulders and smiled at him. "i'm so excited for tonight."

"i would be too if you would tell me what you planned," jeongin pouted cutely at his hyung.

seungmin booped his nose, "that's cause it's a surprise."

they walked into the back room with everyone else. the two boys still kept quiet about their relationship, if they'd even call it that. they were still figuring it out, they obviously really liked each other, but they were learning things on a romantic way rather than their usual friendship.

they were on the stage, singing a few songs that were on their set list. the two lovebirds couldn't keep their eyes off each other. the others didn't seem to notice, too entranced by their love interests.

"freezing cold but i know we'll burn forever," seungmin sang his part in 'thunderous' while looking over at jeongin and sent him a flirty wink.

the younger boy blushed and quickly looked away. that's how the practice mostly went. all the boys were singing, flirting, and dancing. but that's nothing new.

"are you ready?" seungmin smiled at jeongin when he saw his messing with his hair through the mirror.

"yes," the younger boy had a big smile plastered on his face.

jeongin walked out of the restroom, going up to seungmin.

seungmin brought jeongin closer by his waist and gave him a peck on the lips. "you look beautiful."

the dimpled boy smiled and hid his face on seungmin's shoulder. "thank you, so do you. you look very nice."

the two boys left quickly. they were able to sneak out of the dorms without any of the others noticing.

seungmin had made reservations to a nice restaurant, his reasoning being that a beautiful boy should be taken to a beautiful restaurant.

"woah, minnie, this place is so beautiful," the younger boy gaped as they sat down in their booth.

"just like you," seungmin smiled.

"hello," the waiter greeted the two boys, "i'll be your server for tonight, could i start you off with anything to drink?"

"this was so delicious," jeongin sighed and patted his belly, full of content.

"yes it was," seungmin beamed.

they got up after taking care of the bill - seungmin refused to let jeongin pay for anything - and walked out of the restaurant hand in hand.

once they were back in the dorms, they managed to successfully sneak back in and go right into their room. they got ready for bed and were cuddled up. the younger boy had one leg thrown over seungmin's thighs, his arm on his chest, and his head laying on his shoulder, almost laying on the other boy. seungmin was wide awake, lazily tracing shapes onto jeongin's waist.

"thank you for tonight, i really enjoyed spending alone time with you," jeongin smiled at the older boy. seungmin smiled back.

jeongin reached his head up, pressing his lips onto seungmin's. he cupped his cheek as he kissed him. the two boys deepened the kiss, fighting with their tongues.

without breaking the kiss, jeongin climbed on top of seungmin's lap, straddling him. seungmin tightened his grip on jeongin's waist, making the younger boy slip a very quiet moan into the kiss.

they stopped the short make out session, neither of them ready to take it to the next step. eventually sleep took over and they were left dreaming.
