twenty-nine

"eunnie, look at mommy, baby," jeongin excitedly snapped his fingers above his phone while seungmin clapped his hands softly, trying to catch the little baby's attention for a picture.

"boo!" eunae exclaimed excitedly as she bounced with her brown monster plushie, similar to the one from the movie, getting her line down to a perfect t.

"that's right! you're my little boo," jeongin cooed as he crouched down, admiring her little costume.

eunae stood up on wobbly legs before crashing down on her bottom, letting out a fit of giggles, jeongin capturing it all on video.

"the others should be coming here in any minute now," seungmin pulled the sleeve of his blue and purple sully onesie costume to check his watch as jeongin stayed crouched down, snapping pictures of every angle.

as if on cue, there was a knock on the front door, seungmin walked over and opened it to see felix and hyunjin dressed as two safari guiders while felix held onto their baby boy who was in an elephant onesie costume.

"trick or treat!" felix giggled as he held the sleepy baby in front of his face.

"come in, lixie hyung," seungmin smiled widely, opening the door for the three to step in.

"boo!" eunae giggled cutely, clapping her chubby hands as jeongin set her on his hip after adjusting his own loud, green costume - mike wazowski.

"hey lixie, can you help me with eunae's hair?" jeongin eyed him, as felix scrambled to grab the diaper bag from hyunjin's shoulder.

"o-oh yes! i need to change junho's diaper anyways!"

hyunjin snapped his head up quizzically, "we just changed him before coming here?"

felix shot him a look before quickly following jeongin and eunae to his master bedroom, closing the door behind him.

"did you get it?"

"yes," felix nodded, hurriedly grabbing the rectangular box that was buried in his diaper bag, "hurry, go take it and i'll watch eunnie."

jeongin nodded, handing eunae to felix, the poor boy balancing both babies as he walked into the attached bathroom. 

"innie? felix hyung?" seungmin shouted, the sound of the front door closing as more voices and feet were heard, "everyone's here and ready to go!"

"shit, shit, shit," jeongin squeaked as he walked out of the bathroom, "i'll just make sure to check it and throw it away as soon as i come back home."

"good luck, innie," felix pressed a kiss to the top of his head as he handed back eunae to her mothers awaiting arms. 

"oh how cute!"

chan and changbin were dressed as cops while their baby girl was dressed as a robber, securely strapped onto changbin's chest as she comfortably slept on her appa's firm chest.

jisung and minho decided on harry potter theme, their baby boy was harry, small little lightening bolt drawn on his tiny forehead, jisung dressed up as ron weasley and minho as hermione granger - he went as far as dying his hair when jisung pouted that he couldn't since he was a breastfeeding mother.

after taking group pictures, they all headed out for their little ones first halloween together, all babies awake and curious with all the lights and decorations.

it wasn't until they were pretty far into their walk around the neighborhood when a particularly loud prop went off, scaring jisung and minho's son as he looked up at minho with wide eyes, button lip jutted out as it wobbled before letting out a frightening wail.

"shh, you're fine, you're ok, appa's got you, eunwoo," minho held the small baby close to his chest, cradling the back of his head as he shushed gently by his ear, bouncing the baby slightly.

"i think we should call it a night?" jeongin smiled slightly as he placed a hand on jisung's shoulder, worried mom look all over his face.

"yeah, but hey we were pretty successful with all this candy for only having small children," changbin laughed as he held up the full candy bucket.

"let's go," chan said as they walked back towards their apartments, smiling brightly at changbin when he slipped their hands together, baby nabi's cheek smushed against the carrier as she looked up at her mother.

once they reached their apartments, all wished each other a goodnight and split into their designated homes.

"i'm just going to put eunae's pajamas on her, then tuck her into bed," jeongin whispered to seungmin as he carried a sleeping eunae.

seungmin nodded, getting their own bed ready to lay in once jeongin was done. he slipped off the top half of his onesie costume as walked into the restroom to do his skincare, a plastic stick on the counter caught his eye.

upon further inspection, he realized it was a pregnancy test.

"minnie, i'm back, she's-," jeongin stopped, stomach dropping when he realized when was in seungmin's hand, completely forgetting about it, "shit."

"innie?"

"i uh," jeongin swallowed, mouth feeling extremely dry, "what does it say?"

"it's negative."

the younger let out a breath of relief as seungmin put the stick back down on the counter, walking over and cupping jeongin's face, "why didn't you tell me?"

"i freaked out, i was feeling nauseas lately and didn't want to freak you out for no reason," jeongin bit his lip, "i mean, we're barely settling down into our new home, a routine with eunae and we're all starting to work on music again. we weren't exactly trying for another baby."

"we weren't exactly being careful either," seungmin chuckled as he placed his hands on jeongin's waist, "either way, i would've been there for you to take this test."

"sorry, hyung," jeongin signed softly as seungmin pressed a kiss onto his temple, "but hey, we got a good amount of treats right? what's halloween without a little trick."

seungmin looked at jeongin with a face of distaste at his joke, then bursted into laughter, "let's go to bed."
