"hello, baby," seungmin kissed jeongin's lips after walking into the dorms and seeing the shorter boy sitting on the couch while nursing eunae, "and hello to you, my beautiful princess."

eunae looked up at seungmin when she heard his voice, kicking her foot slightly against jeongin's soft tummy when her papa kissed the top of her head.

it's been almost a month since eunae made her appearance to the world and the new parents couldn't be more grateful and blessed to have such a precious daughter.

as scared as they were to be new parents, eunae was such an easy baby, which made navigating parenthood as smooth as it can be.

seungmin took a seat on the couch next to jeongin, wrapping an arm around his shoulders, allowing the shorter boy to get more comfortable and lay his head on his shoulder without disturbing the baby.

"i missed you two at work today," seungmin shyly expressed as he happily took eunae from jeongin to burp her as soon as she unlatched.

it had become his favorite part of their routine. anytime seungmin was around when jeongin was nursing, he would already be waiting with a burping cloth over his shoulder, happily doing the task.

"they're going to start including me in schedules again," seungmin comfortably balanced the baby in his arms, his hand gently patting her diapered bottom as sleep slowly took over, "that's what they were mainly discussing in todays meeting. they're only going to be giving me until she's three months old then i'm back in on schedules."

jeongin bit his lip as he tucked his feet under him, placing his index finger in eunae's palm before cupping seungmin's cheek.

"hyung, what's wrong?" jeongin worriedly asked when he saw seungmin's face fall.

"i just feel guilty leaving you two so soon," the older looked up to jeongin with tears stinging his eyes, "who's going to help you while we're at schedules? there's going to be some days where i won't be home until late night, or at all if it's a multiple day event. i can't leave you to do everything on your own, it's not fair, innie."

"hey.. i won't be completely alone. eunnie is always here with me. i'll be able to do things around the house while she naps, i'll figure out a schedule to work around with her feeding and nap times." jeongin caressed the older's cheek with his thumb, "besides, someone's always going to be here when they're not scheduled to keep me company."

"i just don't want eunae to forget about me," seungmin's voice cracked as he closed his eyes, letting the tears flow freely.

eunae sensed her papa's distress, whining a bit as he picked her up, nosing her cheek as he let out sniffles, "she's so small. and she'll see less of me if i'm going to be working more. i'm scared, jeongin."

"oh, seungmin.." jeongin bit his lip as he brought seungmin's head down to his shoulder, allowing the older to cry, careful of the sleeping baby in his arm, "she recognizes your voice, your touch, your presence. our precious girl is definitely a papa's girl. she's not going to forget you, she loves you so much. "

seungmin held jeongin's waist with his unoccupied arm as he took a deep breath. knowing he was going to have to leave his sweet girl and loving boyfriend home alone while she was so small was hurting him more than he'd ever admit.

"but three months is too soon," the older sniffled as he picked his head up, allowing jeongin to wipe away his tears.

"we'll facetime you and i'll send you pictures and videos every day," the younger gave him a bright smile, "minnie, everything will be alright, trust me. i'll make sure our girl sees and hears you every chance i get. i love you, and so does she."

with a bit of convincing from jeongin, seungmin nodded his head, believing the younger boys words, "i love you both, so much."

"everything will work out, i promise."
