sixteen

the group had a busy past few weeks. they all filmed for their youtube for a week and a half straight- actually started filming the day after they had told jyp about the news- radio shows and interviews for one week, and now they're finally resting.

one day, at midnight, jeongin was rudely woken up by a strong craving of tteokbokki and ramen with a side of kimchi. but not just from anywhere, no, he wanted it from the convenience store they always went to. so he woke up seungmin right away, pouting about how much he really, really wanted tteokbokki.

seungmin sat up, rubbed his tired eyes as he looked at jeongin, gave him a kiss on the forehead and mumbled a tired, "okay," before grabbing a black hooded sweater and a random pair of shoes.

seungmin looked back at jeongin who was also tiredly looking at him, smiles on both of their faces. the older boy grabbed his phone and walked out the door, the smile never leaving his face with a thought, his first craving.

seungmin didn't take long. he laid his head on his lovers lap as jeongin sat up on their bed, blankets tucked right under the small swell of his belly, seungmin gently caressing it as jeongin ate his delicious midnight snack.

"so i was thinking," jeongin started as he grabbed a rice cake and fed it to seungmin, "we should make the baby announcement to stay."

seungmin grinned at the eating boy, "are you sure?"

"yes, i think i'm ready, are you?"

"i'm ready whenever you are," seungmin rubbed a belly balm onto the exposed skin, a habit he happily picked up on when their baby started poking out.

"you hear that, little sweet potato, you're going no longer going to be our little secret," seungmin kissed the small swell as he spoke to their unborn baby, another habit he brought into his daily routine.

that morning, with the help of their hyungs, the two had a mini photo shoot in their dorms to get the perfect picture for their announcement.

the expecting parents wore light blue denim jeans and white tops. jeongin was wearing an oversized button up that was buttoned up just right above his belly with the opened shirt draping on the sides, while seungmin was wearing a plain cotton tee.

"seungmin, stand behind jeongin and put your hands on his belly. jeongin place your left hand over seungmin's on your belly and grab your sonogram with your other hand and place it next to your belly. minho hyung and chan hyung can you move the lights a little more to the center?" hyunjin instructed everyone with his camera placed on his eye, adjusting his angle before snapping a few pictures, "perfect!"

they did a few more poses with the couple, and a few of jeongin alone with a pair of the tiniest pair of white knitted socks all of them have ever seen.

felix and han quickly fixed a few strands of hair and adjusted jeongin's shirt before hyunjin snapped some more pictures.

jeongin and seungmin were with hyunjin looking through the pictures on the camera, ultimately deciding on a few close ups of the pair holding his belly and some of jeongin alone with the knitted socks.

"if the photos came out this good for just the announcement, imagine how amazing they're going to turn out later," jeongin gushed as he got teary eyed, "thank you everyone, this means so much to us to have you here helping us."
