to say jeongin and seungmin were on cloud nine after finding out they were having a baby girl would be an understatement.

they video called their parents to let them know they were having a granddaughter, looked at furniture for their baby, and they were finally able to shop for clothing, along with the excitement of baby shopping from their hyungs.

but going into his twenty-third week, his emotions became a roller coaster. and no one could avoid it.

jeongin was standing in front of the full length mirror in his room, humming lovingly while applying cream on his belly when he felt a small flutter, immediately stopping his movements as he yelled out for seungmin.

the older boy ran into their room as he rushed over to a wide eyed jeongin, who was standing in front of the mirror, one hand clutching his shirt that he had hiked up to his chest, the other frozen on his belly.

"seungmin, seungmin, seungmin," jeongin continuously repeated his name as he waved him over with his hand, "i-i think i felt her move, more like a flutter, it was so soft but i felt her move!"

seungmin gasped as stood in front of jeongin, his hands on either side of his belly, glossy eyes looking into the smaller boys', "she's getting stronger innie, our baby girl is growing so strong."

jeongin wrapped his arms around seungmin's shoulders, letting his t-shirt flow down over seungmin's hands, crying tears of joy into the crook of his neck.

jeongin had passed by a restaurant a few times, each time it caught his attention, making him crave it more and more. he begged his hyungs to go, telling them that baby girl was dying to try it. and who are they to say no to baby girl?

and so they all agreed to go before jeongin and seungmin had to go to a recording session with chan and changbin.

they were seated in a booth with jisung, minho, changbin and chan on one side, hyunjin, felix, jeongin and seungmin in the other.

they had ordered their food, talking to one another, patiently waiting while eating some appetizers. jeongin tasted one of the appetizers, eyebrows raised in delight by how amazing the food was.

"try this, minnie," jeongin fed seungmin a piece of the appetizer as well, getting a similar reaction.

jeongin encouraged everyone to try it, saying it was so so delicious.

"so guys," jeongin started as he took a sip of his water, "baby girl moved today. it was just a small flutter, but her movements are getting stronger!"

hyunjin gasped, covering his mouth with his hands as he cooed at him, "aww innie."

"that's so cute, innie," jisung excitedly beamed at the youngest, who was mirroring his excitement.

"so cute! hopefully she starts kicking soon!" felix widely smiled at them, agreeing with jisung.

jeongin giggled, laying his head on seungmin's shoulder, who was busy having his own conversation with chan, changbin and minho.

everyone's attention shifted when the server came back with their food, passing the food to whoever ordered what.

they were all eating, and conversing about whatever came to mind, enjoying the quality time with each other.
