dumb and dumber | seungin

four

it was a sunday afternoon when jeongin and seungmin were in their room, cuddling per usual, just talking about their upcoming concert.

the dimpled boy suddenly turned on his stomach and laid his chin on seungmin's chest, looking up at him. "do you feel weird without your braces now?" he giggled, earning a groan from seungmin.

"you're just teasing me cause you got your off before i did, aren't you?" the older of the two puffed out a breath of air, his bangs slightly fell up. "but to answer your question, no it doesn't feel weird. it's better. no weird lisp at times and now we can kiss without being scared that we're gonna get stuck."

that last part made jeongin blush a deep red. "yeah well, we'll see if you're lucky enough to get more kisses from me."

they both laughed, and jeongin just looked at seungmin. the way he looked so relaxed, hair fluffy, just looking all cute. there was just one thing he couldn't put his finger on. and it wasn't a topic he could bring up to seungmin.

"i'm gonna go look for felix," he quickly said, the other boy looked away from his phone to look at the younger.

"okay, no worries," he smiled. little did jeongin know, seungmin was peeking while he left so he could go talk to han.

"lixie," the younger boy knocked on the door, "are you busy?"

"come in," felix softly said, smiling warmly when jeongin opened the door and walked into his room.

jeongin shyly smiled and walked over to join felix who was sitting on his bed.

"what's up innie?" felix ruffled the boys hair. "you know you can tell me anything. this is a safe spot." felix gently placed his hand over jeongin's when he saw how nervous he was.

"i need your advice.." he paused, "how did you.. how do you know when you have feelings for someone? like more than friends?"

"oh, innie, do you have feelings for someone?" felix cooed at the younger boy with a warm smile, "is it someone in particular that i know?"

"well- i- it's seungmin.." he let out a puff of air, "at least i think? i don't know, felix! we've been best friends for forever, and we've always been there for each other no matter what.. but lately it feels.. different? i don't know, i just feel my heart race when i'm with him, or an infinite amount of butterflies erupt from the slightest touch. even though they're the same things we've done before. i'm just so confused, lixie."

the older boy wrapped jeongin in a tight, warm embrace when he saw the look on his face. "innie, you have feelings for seungmin. strong ones at that. you should talk to him!"

"i don't know, felix, what if he doesn't feel the same? it'll ruin everything." the younger boy stressed.

"jeongin, i've seen the way he looks at you. i can promise you that you're not the only one that's feeling this way." felix put his hand on his shoulder. "you need to talk to him."

jeongin felt a sudden boost of confidence, and got up to talk to seungmin after thanking felix for the talk. the two boys reached the door at the same time, looking at each other with wide eyes.

"i need to talk to you," seungmin nervously scratched the back of his head.

"me too!" jeongin giggled a bit, earning a small chuckle from seungmin. they both walked into their room and sat down across from each other.

"i like you," both said at the same time. they looked at each other, wide eyed, shocked and cheeks flushed from the confession. seungmin smiled and grabbed both of the younger boys hands.

"would you like to go on a date with me?" the older boy smiled shyly.

"i would love to," jeongin giggled cutely and hugged seungmin.
