3rd Person POV:

As a baker who belonged to the Ice kingdom finished packing an order of two coffee cakes, she couldn't help but notice something in the corner of her eye. It was a black figure . . . crawling out of the sea. The baker didn't pay much attention to it, though. She thought that her eyes must've been playing tricks on her again, like they did when she was a child.

She folded down a quarter of the top of the wrinkly, brown paper bag before sealing it with a small, white sticker with the bakeries logo on it. "Come again!" she said cheerfully as she accepted the customers dollar bills, handing over the bag of coffee cakes. The customer left the bakery, another taking their place at the front counter. They ordered three baguettes and some danish. The baker turned around, washing her hands before she would pack the next order. She gazed out the window in front of her, seeing the same black figure, again.

It was crouched low behind a structure made of wood with slate roofs. It then disappeared behind a few barrels of milk. The baker felt a bit anxious but decided it was perhaps someone in a costume, sneaking up behind one of their friends in an attempt to scare them? She got back to work, knowing she couldn't stare out the window forever — customers were waiting.
