Nikki's POV:
I felt guilty. I should've never brought Lucas back from the dead. Why did I? I knew that he tried to kill Jef. "He's your brother?!" Jack exclaimed. I nodded slowly. "You wouldn't let them hurt me, now would you?" Lucas whispered into my ear, chuckling. I knew I should've let Evelyn throw the glass bottle at Lucas. He deserved it, but for some reason, I just couldn't let her.
"I brought him back. I thought that maybe . . . he'd have changed," I muttered. Jack stepped forward, moving me away from Lucas with his hand. "You know he'd never change," he spoke. "He's a monster." Jack glared at Lucas. "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault and I should've never brought him back. I should've known that Lucas would never change — that he'd only get worse." "So you're the one who resurrected him?" Good asked. I nodded once again. "You're . . . a witch?" Evelyn asked. "Yeah." "I thought you were just an ordinary retired queen!" Andrew exclaimed.
"We need to get some guards. We need to transport Lucas, as we can't just leave him here without punishing him for what he did," Good said. "Andrew and Nikki, come with me to get some guards," Good added.
Goods POV:
Me, Andrew, and Nikki began to walk towards the exit of the cave. We opened the creaky door and walked towards the light, eventually finding Velvet and Ant. "Come on, we need to find some guards," I say. "Why?" Ant asked, following us, along with Velvet. "Lucas is in there and we need to get him so we can do something about what he did." "Lucas?!" Velvet said, sounding surprised. "Oh and, . . . Nikki was the one who revived him. She's a witch." My mother was right. Nikki wasn't who she seemed . . .
