Jefs POV:
My head submerged into the water, the cold, black hand dragging me deeper and deeper. I lashed my arms and legs around, desperately trying to get free. Bubbles emerged from my nose. I accidently took in some of the salty water, a stinging sensation erupting in my nose and the very top of my throat. I looked down to see a black figure with a snorkel being the one pulling me down.
Water swirled around me as I burned through my energy, trying to break free from whoever or whatever was pulling me down. I badly wanted to get up to the surface — to breathe — to cry for help, but I couldn't bring enough air into my lungs. Water began to enter my lungs, making that same burning sensation.
I reached out to the surface with my arms, my legs kicking in distress. I felt my foot meet a hard surface. Bubbles flowed up from underneath me as the hand around my ankle released me. A sense of hope flowed through me as I released that I was free. I swam up as fast as I could, which wasn't very fast since most of my energy had been lost due to struggling to swim up to the surface earlier. I looked down, my eyes stinging as the salty water entered them. I had kicked what was pulling me down in the face earlier, stunning it, but now it was swimming towards me.
I began to panic again, kicking through the sea water faster. The waves threw me up, my head breaking out of the thrashing waves. The wind blew harshly, practically screaming. I let out a pathetic cry for help, giving my last breath as I plunged back into the water, being dragged down once again. I was too weak to move now. I was starting to accept my fate. My vision blurred as I was brought down further into the water. That was when I saw someone.
