Chapter 10

Wyatt's POV

I walked up the stairs of the basement. I closed the door behind me and smiled, 'I kissed Rose,' I thought to myself, 'and I liked it,' I walked into the living room to see two people talking to my family

"What's going on here?" I asked the two guest turn to look at me. One, is a girl, she has brown hair with brown eyes, and then there was a boy, he had blonde hair with blue eyes. He grabbed the girls hand and squeezes it

"Wyatt this is Kaytie and Ben," Brin said, "they want to make a deal for Rose," I widened my eyes. I started at everybody in the room with disbelief

"What?!"

"Come on Wyatt be reasonable, we have no use for her. Sooner or later we were going to kill her, why not let her just go free?"

I ran my fingers through my hair, I looked at Kaytie and Ben. They looked frightened and sick at what we were saying

"What are you two?" I asked I saw them turn pale

"I don't know what you mean," Kaytie said looking down at her feet

"What are you?!" I yelled, "you have to be a paranormal, if you know about Rose,"

"Wyatt calm down," Brin said standing up

"No!" I said looking at Brin, "you're not going let Rose go,"

"Oh, and why wouldn't I?!" Brin said in a sarcastic tone

"Because...,"

"See, you can't even think of a reason for her to stay,"

"Because I love her!" I said. I looked at Brin she looked shock and angry

"You don't know what love is, Wyatt. And you definitely DON'T love Rose!" I looked at Kaytie and Ben. They looked just as shocked as Brin did

"Maybe I don't. But I don't want Rose to leave, I don't want her to get hurt, I need her in my life, Brin?!"

"Then leave! You can leave with Rose and have a great life, but don't come crawling back to us when she doesn't love you to,"

I never thought of that. What if Rose doesn't love me? I would be choosing her over my family, a girl over people that I have known for my whole life!

"Fine," I said. I walked away from them and went down stairs. I found Rose with her eyes closed leaning against the post. She looked beautiful, I walked over to her a bent down.

I started to take off the ropes around her hands. She grunted in pain, "I know Rose, I can feel it to," she opened her eyes

"What are you doing Wyatt?" She asked looked at what I was doing

"I'm getting you out of here," I whispered in her ear

"Really?!" She said with excitement in her voice

"Yeah," I got the ropes off and picked her up off the ground like a baby. I held her in my arms and walked up stairs, "listen some people are here, Kaytie and Ben, do you know them?"

"Yeah, they are my friends," she said nodding my head, "I'm going to miss you Wyatt,"

I set her on the ground and I cupped her face. I looked into her eyes and I kissed her soft lips. She pulled away like she did last time, "I'm sorry Wyatt,"

"No big deal,"

"I guess I will just be leaving then," she said walking away from me. I grabbed her hand a pulled her back to me

"I'm not leaving you," I whispered in her ear, "ever again," I pulled her away she was smiling she jumped into my arms

"Good," she said I pulled her away and she grabbed my hand. I pulled her to exit. Shy let go of my hand and ran to Kaytie and Ben. She wrapped her arms around there neck, "I missed you guys," she said

"We missed you to Rosy," Kaytie said, "Nathan was going out of his mind, he made a stupid deal with Lily,"

"What was the deal," Rose asked eyeing them both

"Nathan will tell you," Ben said, "but right now we need to get you home, you need a shower because you stink!" Rose laughed she came back to me and grabbed my hand

"Ready?" I looked at her she was smiling at me

"Whenever you are," and with that we walked out of the house. I turned around to see Brin looking at me, she smirked at me and I couldn't help but feel like she had a devious plan, and I was the star of it.
